Guarenteed Connecting Rooms were NOT given! Booked my "guaranteed" connecting rooms for my family with small children almost a year ago on Hilton.com with my Hilton Honors account. Had everything confirmed earlier in the week and on my Hilton app the morning of check in. I was assigned my two connecting rooms and requested digital keys. Arrived at the hotel after 8 p.m. after a long travel day. To my surprise I was given two rooms on the same floor, one of which was not the one I was originally assigned and the rooms were NOT connecting. I purposely book Hilton hotels because the "guarantee connecting rooms" is a must for my family. When I went to the front desk to get help, I was told they didn't know why the other connecting room was even assigned to me when it had been already occupied for three days, and that they were also fully booked. When I suggested they call other nearby Hilton locations to transfer us, I was told they couldn't do that and that if I went to another Hilton I'd still have to pay for my two rooms. I was then offered a roll-away bed since one room was a king and I now needed a fourth bed since my family had to be split up. I wasn't paying full price for two rooms to have to sleep on a roll-away bed, especially when it was the hotel's fault. After over an hour, they were able to give us two non-connecting double queen rooms. The hotel itself was underwhelming and small, and we stay in a lot of Hampton Inn's. The lobby stunk of cigarettes upon arrival and when walking to the elevator area it reeked of weed. The rooms were clean, while on the small side, and the towels were soft and smelled very nice and clean. The beds were on the firmer side and the sheets were very stiff. The doors were heavy and slams shut. Didn't sleep well, as we had noisy neighbors and other doors closing hard. The breakfast was average at best. Their massive error became my stressful problem late at night, the night before Memorial Day and the first night of my vacation. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel and I will certainly never return. Look elsewhere, especially if you are a family and need guaranteed connecting rooms.

Very Nice Stay Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. The mattresses are a little firm, but still okay. Breakfast was good and area was clean. We selected our room via the Hampton app, but that didn’t go through for some reason. We were still able to get a great room. Didn’t use the pool or fitness center since we were only there for a night. Good location. Would definitely stay again!

Network overload. Breakfast staff terrific, couldn’t have done enough to assist, sadly no WIFI within our room which was needed for work purposes. Meant leaving room to go to foyer when needed. If you stood at the room door you could get WiFi!!!!!!! Room clean but definitely needs an upgrade , not the fault of the staff … same chain hotel at Hwy. 27 upgraded and rooms terrific

Decent for a very short stay Ok for a night or two. Rooms smelt damp but otherwise were clean . Beds were comfortable. Breakfast is what you’d expect at a 3*. Ok for sleeping the night but spending the rest of the day out. The location is off a main road and very close to international drive , I wouldn’t advise walking as it’s super busy and there’s a lot of construction on the roads at the moment .

OK if you really want to be near Universal Studios As Hampton Inns are among the cheapest in the Hilton chain, we didn't have unreasonable expectations. The quality of our room was still disappointing, though. Both the room and the bathroom definitely need refurbishing. The worst thing was the room's unpleasant, musty smell. It would have helped if we could have opened a window but they are all nailed shut, for safety. A pity they can't be opened at least a fraction. However, the room was a decent size and the bed was fairly comfortable. There was considerable noise from a busy road - it's worth requesting a room on the quieter side of the building if you can. The included breakfast looked good at first sight until you realised that almost every item was carbohydrate, high sugar, (especially the cereal) or highly processed protein (including the scrambled "eggs.") Even the yogurts were all flavoured and high in sugar. The only healthy items were bananas and oatmeal. Just because breakfast is included it shouldn't be poor quality - we've had better in IHG hotels. I agree with a previous reviewer about the appalling waste but unfortunately it seems to be common in Florida (and sadly in several states.) I guess it's to keep staffing to a minimum. Don't be fooled by "recyclable" printed on the plates. If you read the small print, you'll soon realise that these may be recyclABLE but won't be recycled here. Despite these negative comments the hotel is conveniently located, has free parking and should be fine for a short stay, so long as you are allocated a decent room and only plan to be there to sleep.
