Homewood Suites by Hilton Lake Buena Vista - Orlando

Lies and Lies for 30 days Anyplace else but that hotel checked in first night fold out couch mattress was worn out. Had to prop it up because my blood was running down to my head. I put my son in one of the beds instead I sleep there and in the other room my son and wife could not sleep because of AC. Problems continued so we checked out! It took me writing a dozen emails calling over 20 times chatting with Homewood suites on Facebook. And providing proof they did not refund me to get my money back. And by some miracle the same day I provided the evidence we’re they could not deny they owed me after 30 days I got my money back. And no one apologized after 30 DAYS!

Great Room and Service Stayed in a 2-queen suite room with a sofa bed in July 2024. The room was spacious and well-appointed. Everything was cleaned to my expectations. The most surprising part of the stay was that the sofa bed was sincerely, truly, and completely not-kidding, very, very comfortable. The best sofa bed I've ever experienced. I didn't even know that a comfortable sofa bed existed until now. The property manager, Shirley, was a pleasure to interact with and seems to be the jewel in the crown. Everyone I interacted with was professional, polite, and helpful. A nice stay.

Thank You Oskar ... Great Hotel I want to give a big thank you to Oskar at the front desk of this property. We were at Homewood Suites 3 nights and in everyway Oskar could not have been more helpful ... starting with our check in. We are very light sleepers and need a room away from noise and the room assigned to us did not meet that criteria. Oskar looked, looked and looked until he found us a room which was perfect!! We slept like babies! This is a very nice hotel, clean, and all of the staff were very friendly! I would highly recommend anyone to stay here ... ask for Oskar at the front desk ... he was great!

BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL. It is not a typical Homewood Suite property. We had several problems during our stay and called management 5 days ago to let them know of issues with still no response. We are not surprised by the lack of response from management because you could sense there are serious problems at this hotel in all areas. I worked in the hotel industry for over 40 years and this hotel represents the worst experience ever at a Hilton brand. Below are just a few issues: 1. Our room was on backside of hotel up against I4. The traffic noise was so loud it was impossible to sleep. 2. The TV signal was so weak in our room we couldn’t get ABC or NBC. They also have minimal channels available in the room including no ESPN. So we did not have a working set and called desk twice. 3. Two days during our stay we didn’t have WIFI. We called the desk several times and they said we didn’t know how to connect. After a couple of hours they admitted it was not working throughout the hotel. We asked for compensation at the time and we were totally ignored. 4. We had no hot water in our shower the final day. 5. The complimentary breakfast did not include muffins, bagels, or toast. We don’t eat a full breakfast and it would be nice if they had a consistent breakfast with other Homewood Suites. 6. They charge an additional $25 per day for parking through an app on your phone. The app didn’t work on the last day and we couldn’t add more money to our parking bill so they ticketed our car. Obviously, the service in this hotel is less than professional and I only listed the operational deficiencies in our room but they certainly are not in the hospitality business. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL!

Nice place and great staff Very nice clean place. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Oskar at the front desk was very nice and made every effort to accommodate us after a long drive. He’s has the right personality for customer service. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you !!
