Hyatt Place across from Universal Orlando Resort

Perfect Choice for Family First, let me start with the digital key. After a long travel day and arriving at 2:30 a.m., it is nice to just be able to scan the digital key, enter the hotel and enter the room without having to interact with anyone. We were super happy to arrive to a clean room and a very comfy bed. The set up of the bedroom was very nice and it gave this family of four the right amount of space for what we need. Next, the breakfast bar provided plenty of offerings to fit everyone's needs. Hot food, cold cereals, fruit, bread/bagels, juice, coffee. The team who set up and maintained the breakfast bar were on top of things. They were kind when we asked questions and they were worked super hard to keep everything tidy and clean. The cleaning crew who serviced our room did a wonderful job. Our room was clean and they provided everything we needed for our stay. Furthermore, the customer service at the front desk was on point. Shout out to Kadeem & Bella at the front desk who was kind, courteous, and professional in all our interactions. The hotel also offers a courtesy computer and printer. My daughter needed to print something for her job and she was having trouble. Long story short, she was able to get it done with the help of Maria at the Hyatt House across the way. She went the extra mile to make sure she had the printed materials she needed for this new job. On another note, the hotel has a Universal Resort desk where you can buy tickets and register for the shuttles. We didn't use the service because we already had tickets and the shuttle times didn't work for us but it is a nice to have and the customer service person there was helpful in answering park-related questions. Ultimately, this is a fantastic place to stay that is affordable and value added with the amenities that it offers and the people who work there are the kind of people who make your hotel stay exceptional. Great Staff! The team at Hyatt Place Universal was awesome, very professional, genuinely pleasant, and truly made our stay memorable!

Come for Universal, stay for Kadeem! Kadeem was so warm and welcoming! He’s full of helpful information and wonderful smiles. Actually, the entire staff was amazing. We had a small hiccup with the a/c leaking in our room. Ivy and Isaiah were prompt to send up Chris from maintenance to help rectify the situation. They were all so helpful and friendly. Taneifa was wonderful with my daughter and her friend who made multiple Starbucks trips. I will definitely stay here again. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast they offered had a nice selection for everyone. The noon checkout is the icing on the cake!

Great place to stay Excellent service clean bathroom and spacious rooms, plus less than 2min from Universal Studios Plaza

Not your typical hyatt stay Person who checked us is was very rude and we paid a crazy amount to park! It seemed as if us staying their wad an inconvenience to them.
