What a Great Stay! What a wonderful property. Well maintained, rooms were huge and spotlessly clean, grounds crew and maintenance workers were hard working and very helpful. The villa had everything you would need to prep meals or just make coffee and sit out on the not one, but TWO furnished enclosed patios or balcony and enjoy the lakeside view. The pools were awesome and located throughout the resort. So even though it was pretty busy, the choices allowed you to find a spot and still maintain distance. I loved the text message feature to the front desk where I was able to send requests via text message and even check out as well. While there was no housekeeping during our stay due to Covid, the text messaging feature helped when we needed extra towels and supplies etc. I'm really glad I decided to give this place a try. It really was a home away from home without the hustle and bustle of city life. You definitely get what you pay for without those ridiculous added fees of other hotels and resorts. I will definitely be returning here in the future!

Very disappointed We booked our week long stay for multiple birthday celebrations. Unfortunately, our experience there was very disappointing. First of all, we couldn't even pull the car into the reception area parking lot, there were cars everywhere blocking the entrance. It took forever to check in with only 2 people at the front desk. When we got to our room we noticed that there was a very musty smell and the carpet was moist. I called down to the front desk (which was hard to get through, as all agents were busy), they said they would send a maintenance man up to check for any leaking from the air conditioner etc. The maintenance man couldn't find any leaks and said he would contact housekeeping to either clean the carpet or bring a fan to dry the carpet out. A few hours later a guy from housekeeping came up with a spray bottle and sprayed the carpet with a disinfectant . We called again about the moist carpet the next day and they said they would send someone with a fan. We never saw anyone again about the carpet. Even on the day we checked out the carpet was still moist. This isn't the first time we have issues while staying at the Grande Vista, but this will be the last time we stay there. We are vacation club owners and use the units frequently, and this place does not meet the Marriott standards in my opinion.

Great place to stay We rented a 2BR condo thru Expedia for 4 nights right after July 4th. Very nice unit, well appointed and excellent housekeeping, along with good bar drinks and food at the pool (by 7100). Located right down the street from Sea World and close to many area attractions, shopping, dining, etc. Only 2 suggestions: Marriott was still in full Covid protection, which was fine, as all staff were masked, but the plexiglass barriers at the Front Desk, along with the poor quality speaker system in use, made it extremely difficult to hear what the friendly Guest Service Agent was trying to say. Also, maybe someday, resorts will enforce the no saving of pool chairs. Each day, even by 10AM, chairs were a premium due to towels being placed and not being used for a couple of hours. Great place to consider when planning an Orlando visit, especially if Sea World is in your plans.

Noisy!!!! We are owners who somehow ended up in a villa right over the pool equipment and pool that is open from 7 am to 11pm. There is music and games going non stop and it is incredibly loud. We could not enjoy sitting outside on the lanai because it was SO loud. Very very disappointed and will never stay here again nor will I recommend it to anyone. I expected a lot more for those of us who dish out a ton of money as MVC owners. We tried to change rooms but were ignored.

Nice Property Pros We stayed in the Main Village in Bldg 82 which was great because we were close to the pool, restaurant, convenience store and other amenities. We were in a 1 BR unit that was huge and clean the only downside is it was a first floor unit which partially obstructed our view of the lake and was less private, that said it was still very nice. We were pleasantly surprised that the food was very good at the Grand Cove and Dinner was excellent at the Grill, some of the best prime rib I've had! We loved the fact that the pools are open until 11pm, it was great spending time in the hot tub/pool after the sun goes down. Cons Check in was a bit slow and the biggest disappointment was that there was no housekeeping service. We had to clean our room, change linen and take out garbage. I know this is due to covid but part of our vacation experiences have been being spoiled and coming back to our room cleaned for us. Overall we had a really nice time and I'd definitely recommend this resort.
