Excellent Stay I will echo the sentiment in so many of the reviews that this property is definitely great for families with kids and during our stay (just my wife and me) the place was loaded with them! But, the noise level was low to tolerable the entire week until the last night when a large family group arrived and they assigned them to the rooms on each side of us and the kids were running back and forth from room to room the entire evening. But by that time the realty of going home had already hit us and after a few hours of screaming kids and slamming doors (the entry doors are heavy) we were more than ready to go. But, overall we had an excellent stay. As a MVC owner, I'm still more than a little perturbed that Marriott has abandoned room cleaning completely in view of the hefty maintenance fees we pay, but housekeeping was always accommodating when we called in delivering any amenities that we needed, as well as clean linens and towels. Every employee we encountered while on property greeted us promptly and always asked how our stay was going and if we needed anything. Truly an extraordinary group of people. We were in building 31 at the front of the complex and enjoyed the view of the fountain whenever we'd look out from the screened in patio. Our room was very clean and all the necessary cooking utensils were supplied. There were no stains on the furniture or the carpet, at least as far as we could see, which we very much appreciated. In conclusion, this is a great property and I highly recommend. Sea World, Disney and Universal Studios were all very close so if you're headed to the parks it's a great location if you want to take a break during the day and head back to the room for a couple hours. The Orange County Convention Center was also just blocks away in case you want to bring the family and combine business and pleasure. And, if you're a shopper, the Orlando Premium Outlets is almost literally around the corner. Take your pick-whether it's parks, convention or shopping-you can't go wrong here.

amazing for children I stayed 12 days at this hotel. It is wonderful, from all the staff to the grounds, to the rooms, everything was perfect. My 6 year old was thouroughly entertained with the many pools, daily activities like painting and poolside bingo, all types of things to do. She quickly made friends with other children, it was very fun for her. The grounds of the hotel are wonderful. Rooms are very comfortable, beds great, staff is quick to help and extremely friendly. I am so glad that we chose this hotel. Highly recommend.

Its great for families with kids This is a time share hotel apartment. We got the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. The “villa” was decent with large living area, sofa bed, 2 bedroom with 3 queen beds between them, 2 bathrooms, and a decent balcony with netting. Kitchen has everything. Decent dining area. There is a washer and dryer in suite. The complex has great kiddie pools (one with a slide adults can use). Lots of events planned by the hotel. Overall its great for families with kids. Pools and water play areas are great if you have kids. The only negative is the buildings are getting dated and major renovation is needed. Inside the suites also need refreshing. Don’t expect Marriott quality Facility.

Family Vacation This hotel was amazing. The property was clean & well kept. The staff was super friendly & helpful. The rooms were huge & had everything you needed - they were more like apartments than a hotel. The pool areas were great - our 5 year old had the best time. The mini golf on property was an added bonus. A calendar is given at check in with fun activities every hour, every day. We will 100% be back!

Really loved our stay! Great location, great amenities and lots to do! The room- we had a 2 bedroom in bldg 31- yes 2 elevators service 2 attached bldgs but we never had an issue getting an elevator. Also a good amount of luggage trolleys. Room was spacious and clean with all we needed for a week. The load sensing washer threw me off a bit when I thought it wasn't working right but the staff that arrived to 'fix' it assured me it was fine bc of the load sensing capabilities. We travel light on purpose bc we know there's a washer/dryer in the unit. Beds were comfy and AC was great with the FL heat. Loved mornings on the enclosed porch. You text housekeeping for any needs including extra bath or pool towels- quick response as well. Outdoors- large hot tubs, a couple of pools to choose from- we didn't have any issue with getting chairs- there were upright ones as well as chaise. Each pool had a bar for drinks and snacks- the one by the shipwreck has a greater selection of prepared foods. Front desk pre-authorizes your card for $125 in anticipation of any room charges. Kids of all ages loved the pool slides and splash pad! Other activities- foosball, billiards, ping pong, cornhole, basketball (lower and standard height nets), DVDs, football, soccer, etc. Nice little walk to the lake with Adirondack chairs and swing to relax on. We took shelter under the pavilion there in one of the FL rainstorms- fun! Only 2 slight cons- 1) helicopter tours are nearby and frequent- I wasn't used to the constant buzzing by and 2) our room was right off the elevator so kids room experienced early morning noise when housekeeping arrived on our floor to start their day. Overall, I would definitely stay here again! (of note- we were never asked to sit in on any timeshare presentation when this is a MVC property- that was refreshing!)
