Hotel California Robbed. We reserved a room through Reservationcounter.com. The receipt said $25 pet fee for the night. When I got there, they wanted $75 for a dog 40 lbs. I couldn't cancel and they wouldn't let me in until I paid it. Why would anyone pay 80 bucks for a gloomy, junk beach hotel then cough up twice the price for a dog by surprise?! The wifi doesn't work, the door cards don't work and the loud lady next door had guests all night.

UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF A RUDE RECETIONIST AT HOTEL DESK This was the rudest women i ever encountered ! She knew the client that checked in and would not put me through she would not give me an manager she needs to be ..... fired by her bad attitude i had a emergency i was afraid something happened to my friend of 30 years she knew the situation and would not put me through ... she was rude and spoke poor English !!!! I would never stay there or recommend this motel I am taking this comment and placing it on TRIP ADVISOR AS WELL l !!!!!!!!

$100 deposit never returned Do not check in here. They will ask for a $100 deposit aside from your actual rate which doesn’t make sense. You pay your charges once you check out . Your deposit of $100 they said it will return after 2-3 days. But they never did. They are satisfied with the charges i paid but they stole me $100.

Hotel at best - After three months and three emails, still no response from the manager as promised. You are not neither an Inn or Suite. You are a motel that has some pieces of the 70s and some updates. 1) My WiFi never worked in my room (106). I spoke to the gentleman at the desk twice and even when he tried, he saw it was not working. This was HUGE b/c I could not get and work completed 2) I had no cord on my in-room phone. 3) The coffee was never replenished and when I asked at the desk, I was told it would be taken care of. 4) The freezer did not work because it needed defrosted. 5) The jets on the jacuzzi tub were dirty. 6) and while I understand that it is the pet owner’s responsibility, the “hotel” makes zero effort to maintain a feces free premises!

MOTEL at best This is a MOTEL falsely advertised. The pool filter did not work; sand accumulated at the bottom. The freezer did not work b/c of age and needed “defrosted.” I could not get coffee packets after one day. The WiFi NEVER worked and I asked TWICE.
