Oswestry Show stay I have been brought up near Oswestry and moved away. You never stay at a hotel near home so this was our chance to stay at The Wynnstay. It didn’t disappoint.

Good accommodation, poor restaurant Overall good accommodation although the lighting in the corridor to the room was poor and the lighting in the bathroom made use of the mirror difficult. Quality of food and speed of service not what we expect for a hotel of this standard .

Excellent stay A lovely hotel, my room was excellent, had a/c, and a separate sitting room. I had breakfast and lunch, which were both excellent. The only thing I would change, would be to have a bath, as well as a shower. The staff were friendly, and knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Would definitely come back We had a great four night stay at the hotel. We opted for a deluxe double which provided ample space. The layout of the room was a little unusual but due to the age of the building, it was configured to fit the building itself. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The staff were ever so lovely and helpful throughout our stay. We ate in the restaurant a few evenings and the food was good. The menu didn't change during our stay but there was plenty on the menu to choose from and we had something different each evening. Breakfast was great. A good choice at the buffet and cooked options offered in addition to this. We had sunny weather during our stay and were able to sit out at the lawn each evening before dinner which was absolutely lovely. A very relaxed and open space. There's a spacious car park available for guests.
