Hampton Inn & Suites Huntsville Hampton Cove

Upper tier of Hampton because of service beyond requirements. Professional staff, rather new and well maintained hotel, tastefully decorated. Insane water pressure on third floor of four. Pet friendly, nice pool, and inquiries from staff about quality of stay and offering help to improve stay. As a traveling physician who has stayed in numerous Hampton, this is in the upper tier of that hotel class. I wish all these chains would use eggs rather than the preserved liquid ones, which I find inedible.

Second stay in 3 months room 207 was in SAD shape My wife and I stayed at this location at the end of March and were upgraded to a King Bed studio suite (we are Diamond members) and it was wonderful. We were not upgraded this time and had a regular king bedroom. That is not the problem. The problem was the room was either not constructed well or maintained well. The bathroom contains most of the issues. I have attached photos showing the poor finish work around the edges of the floor, the missing ring around the sprinkler head. I've also attached a sprinkler head in the entryway with the finished ring. The interior shower door does not have a track to keep it in place. The handle on the door is not secure and shifts. The doorstop serves no purpose as the shelves above it stick out further than the doorstop. The flooring sounds as if it loose. The biggest turnoff was the filthy floors - carpet and bathroom. After taking a shower and walking in the room I cleaned my feet with a washcloth and include pictures of the washcloth. This is not what I am accustomed to in any Hilton property and was not the case during our last stay. The staff is very friendly and pleasant, but a filthy room negates all that.

Near downtown Owens Crossroads Very clean and professional atmosphere. Close to downtown Owens Crossroads and Piggly Wiggly. The staff is very friendly. The prices are not outrageous although higher than surrounding places. You can drive over the mountain into Huntsville without a hitch. Try not to go during rush hours, though, since there is only one main road over the mountain.

Excellent Staff and Service Staff service before, during and at end of stay was excellent. Purpose of travel was a golf outing with eight traveling to Alabama from other states. Mandy was invaluable assisting with reservation changes and additional rooms. She went out of her way to make sure our entire group was satisfied. Will definitely recommend hotel in future.

I would stay here again. I would be happy to stay here again next time I'm in the area. The hotel is in a good location. There was plenty of breakfast. The staff was friendly--Mandy at the front desk was especially nice.
