Haunted My husband and I went on business. Room 338 was fine. Paper products were the lowest quality possible. It was quiet though. I had some things happen, though. I brought my gummy vitamins with me in my luggage. We went to bed, hubby was asleep. I just drifted off when I heard the gummies container being shaken. Very recognizable sound for me. When I drifted off again, something touched my hand. When I woke in the morning, I saw [my hubby] standing at the left side of the foot of the bed, near the mirror. I said good morning. He didn't reply. I repeated good morning and look up toward him. I saw a figure turn and walk into the bathroom. I called his name, no reply. I got up and went to look in the bathroom, but he wasn't in there. He came walking in the front door. Then, I was getting around in the bathroom when I took my tiny nose ring out and sat it on the top of my hairspray. My husband came in, grabbed the hairspray. I said, "Oh, no, my nose ring!" We both looked at the can and the nose ring was still on the can, even though it was defying gravity. Also, when we met up with other business partners, one said she was on the 2nd floor and at 11:30pm, she heard a man screaming like he was in a horror movie. Another of our crew heard us talking and said she and her roommate heard a gunshot and rain and blowing wind against their window when it had not rained at all. It was the day after Halloween.

One word: GROSS!! There is no nice way to review this hotel, so I’m just going to lay it out as so. This has got to be one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life. I know I said that a lot, but OMG! Where to begin? Well, let’s start from the outside. You would not think the hotel is absolutely gross! It seems well put together. There is a cute restaurant right inside. The girl at the front desk seems to be very sweet. Aaaaaand that’s about it. From there, it goes completely downhill…FAST!! Next, let’s discuss the fact that I paid $300 For what is considered the “presidential suite.” Needless to say there was nothing presidential about this room. When you first walk in the suite, there is an absolutely foul odour throughout the living room space. There are stains all over the couch. Some of which I have no idea what they are and I’m not even sure I want to know! Then you go into the bedroom, and there is this spa that is right next to the bed. A spa that is so dirty, there are permanent stains along the sides and base of the tub. The shower is absolutely repulsive. I couldn’t believe a space like this was even allowed to be habitable. And when you get to the bed, the sheets look clean, but they are not. Even when I slept with my clothes on, I developed a rash from the sheets that stayed with me for months. I literally had to go to a doctor to get a cream prescribed to be in order to remove it. True story!! All in all, I would avoid this place, even if it was the last hotel on earth! Like OMG! I highly recommend, just staying the next town over. Avoid this place at all costs!!

Ok A very nice stay but considering the cost I’d think they would be a little more high end. However…. Hotel was clean and person at desk was friendly and efficient. Bathroom towels were horrible thin… And no breakfast…nothing except coffee. We stayed there because we were in Owosso for family funeral and came out of state and needed one overnight stay. Probably wound not stay again at that price.

Not worth the money Don’t stay here, we paid $160 for no breakfast, the smallest whirlpool tub I have ever seen, an the smoke detector was haggling off the wall, I covered it in fear there might be a camera. Place looks nice and well placed. Don’t waste your money. Better choices in Durand. And the tv picture quality sucked.

friendly comfortable place to stay! I travel alone for business and was pleased that the outside was well lit when I arrived late at night. The person who checked me in was extremely pleasent even though it was late. I got to my room and it was a very spacious comfortable room. My work had a package delivered to me there and there were issues with amazon but the hotel staff was great in helping me get the package and solve the problems. They went above and beyond. The location is great- near downtown and close to many good places to eat. I will definitely come back for business and personal travel.
