Dissappointing experience. Room, beach access and lobby are lovely, ev. else was a fail. @$500 per nt. Upon entering the hotel lobby I was excited to see that we had booked a beautiful luxury getaway. Our check-in was spotty with limited explanation of the extra fees. We prepaid through a 3rd party tour operator, but additional fees equaled another $80+ per night. Which were not explained, I overheard another guest checking in and asked about the additional fees. The lobby is the only luxury part of the experience. Some standard services I expect are housekeeping to clean, and replace amenities, luggage carts to be available and streaming television options. None of those exist here. They offered a fire stick, which was never delivered despite following up with them three times, housekeeping did not clean glassware, replace coffee, put in clean towels or replace water bottles. Hotel Room - the room is lovely, and the all-suite experience is fantastic. However, I booked an Ocen View and was given a Partial Ocean View when booking the room. The front desk clerk argued that I had not, and since I didn't have my reservation confirmation with me, I had to take his word. The hotel is literally steps from the beach, which is fantastic, but when you think you are booking an ocean front room, and get a partial ocean view, it's quite disappointing. So be sure you have the right information confirm their internal codes so that you have this straight. They have like 8 different room codes, and many sound quite similar,ie. ocean view, ocean front, beach view, beach front, partial ocean view etc. These are all quite confusing. Our room was clean and updated, the balcony was not cleaned in quite some time. Food and restaurant options are good. We only ate in each once, but both offered good food, and dining experiences. The common areas are completely neglected and tired. The mid-century/Spanish modern style in the luxurious lobby, room and restaurants does not match the rest of the of property. Elevator floor is clean, but the baseboards and windows and walls are stained and tired looking. The faux stone-lined walkways need updating, and the waterfalls do not appear to have been updated since the hotel was built. As a beach front hotel, I know upkeep must be difficult, but as a Hilton Curio Collection Hotel, I have higher expectations. After paying almost $2000 for a four-night stay, of which almost $400 were unexpected resort and parking fees, I had hopes for a better experience for me and my family. The pool area was fine, and the pool attendant was lovely and attentive. Poolside food and drink were not offered to us during the one-hour period of time we were there. At $200 per nite, we might have considered a return, but at an all-in price of $500 per nite, we won't be returning or recommending this hotel.

Absolutely AWFUL Management To say this hotel visit was a big disappointment would be an understatement. From the moment we arrived, there were nothing but mistakes that amounted to a generally poor visit. Worse, management was unresponsive while on site and afterward, when I emailed about my experience. First, our room was not ready at check in, and despite my calling in advance and asking twice at check in, the room was not feather free. Not a big deal by itself, but cumulatively with everything else, just one more frustration. The next morning, at 6:30 a.m. the garbage trucks started outside our room. Dumpsters banging for more than 30 minutes on a Saturday morning, and twice more while we stayed there. I was told that the resort doesn't control the garbage, but, it doesn't really matter -- it's the hotel's responsibility to provide a restful experience to guests. It was miserable. Later on Saturday, there was a party in the ballroom which was also near our room until 11:00 p.m., with loud music playing and vibrating our room. Normally, that wouldn't be an issue, but after being awaked before the sun, we were ready to go to bed, and couldn't. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the primary purpose of a hotel room is TO SLEEP, is it not? Thanks to the outright chaos at this hotel, sleep was impossible the three nights I was there. In addition to the excessive noise, there was a flood in my room the first night. Upon returning to my room around 9:00, I called and the engineer had to come and remove the leaky fridge that had spilled tons of water all over the floor. By the time the leaky fridge was removed and the floors dried, it was after 10 p.m. Further, the air conditioning in the room was broken, so no matter what temperature it was set on, it stayed at 65 degrees. This is not the luxury experience promised on the website (and certainly expected from the price tag). I spoke to several different people at the front desk and each time I asked to speak to a manager, I was told none was available. I was told that one would contact me, but nobody ever did. The one positive was that the staff with whom I was able to speak were incredibly apologetic and attentive. Despite the fact that they had ZERO support from management, they were kind and seemingly embarrassed by the experience we had. In particular, Cessy and Stefani (I think) at the front desk were bright lights and are excellent at their jobs. This property is terribly managed. The experience was absolutely the worst I have had in many, many years of travel. What a disservice to the Hilton brand and a complete waste of $1200 vacation experience. There are plenty of beach hotels in this area, and this one is not worth your time or money. Management, in particular, Kris Dael, to whom I tried to reach out more than once, certainly does not care about its guests.

Stay on the beach! This is a pricey hotel, but it is right on the beach, so it is worth the money! The lobby is beautifully decorated and gives you the five star feel upon walking in. The rooms are bright, spacious and updated. The pool is large, surrounded by greenery and gives a resort vide. There are firepits with seating and a gate that leads to the beach a few steps away. This was a great family getaway!

Do NOT stay - go to Crown Plaza instead! Don’t stay here. Go to Crown Plaza. Reasons 1) Stinks! Mildew in room ( pool view suite!) and no option offered when I complained to front desk 2) Crowded! Lots of locals in pool/hot-tub all day - not just hotel guests 3) Rude- front desk agent did nothing when I complained of room mold - just a nod. 4) Dated interior- this is the least of the issues, but for how much I paid, I expected more. Learn from my experience, STAY AWAY! Too much money for the low quality experience.

Disappointing Im disappointed. My room was not ready at check in time and the front desk was not very accommodating. They basically told me to wait for my room and my digital key… it will eventually turn up. Room was not clean, food trays fr prev guests was left outside the room and was not picked up until this morning. I had a leaky toilet in the room and what is worse there were mosquitoes in the room.
