Stay somewhere else! This was a last minute reservation as we needed to get off the highway for the night. It being a summer weekend in Pagosa Springs, not a lot of choices. This motel is very dated & needs a lot of care. We were willing to put up with it until a cockroach emerged from a ceiling tile in the morning! Disgusting! If you have any other options, stay there instead!

Worst place we've ever stayed in. This place is a derelict dump! The very nice person at the desk assured me that they were remodeling. We got a room in the "newer" part. Electric plugs didn't work, sofa was dirty, bed was on a platform of 2/4s. Breakfast room was in a dark and dingy bar. On the plus side-the pillows were new and fluffy. Not up to Quality!

Lean comfy rooms and beds Let me start with the experts that didn't read the description. It IS being renovated. The older building is only used as the desk and breakfast area. The building being renovated only the first floor is being used. The Lobby will be moved to the newly renovated building by end if summer. The manager is so very upbeat and willing to explain where they are in the process. Construction workers are hard to find in a resort town. So things take time. My past experiences in seeing hotels renovated makes me want to come back and see the successes of this place. Right now no it's not the Ritz. Go across the street. Pay $$$$ and get the same room. This location is under renovation. If you can't deal with that. Sorry. It was so sad to talk with this super manager and hear how they are working to rebuild and stay open. It's a struggle. I'm on their side. Oh my room. Comfy beds but clean. Very clean. Yes the fixtures are dated. But it's under remodel. Construction Hang in there guys it'll get better. You're on the right track. Oh the WIFI works fine

Stay somewhere else The facility is undergoing remodeling. The toilet looks like it came from a truck stop. It took 4 flushes to clear it. The room has exposed wood, concrete, corroded bath fixtures, and a sofa bed that is so dirty I won’t sit on it. It’s missing light fixtures, doesn’t have enough electrical outlets and the lobby reeks of marijuana. No value here. Very overpriced.

Not really renovated/ uncomfortable stay As of March 18, 2024, I would not recommend this hotel for anyone, especially business travelers or families. Check-in is in the more run down building. A coworker and I stayed in the building across the parking lot with a new exterior, which is being renovated. It looks like there's been new carpet in the last year and new furniture and TVs. That's based on what I observed in the entry area where there was no carpet to tile transition and an ancient work desk. The room had a drywall patch with no attempt to match paint and the bed sat on old 2 x 4’s and plywood. Since the carpet appears to have already been replaced, I wouldn’t expect those to be improved. There were also pallets of barn door style shower doors outside that will presumably be installed in place of the worn out tubs. I was on the ground floor and people were talking and coughing outside my window several times throughout the evening. It was awkward, if not uncomfortable Front desk staff was not friendly WiFi didn’t work at all but I didn’t attempt to ask the desk staff for help with it Common areas are under construction Positives are a big Samsung TV with lots of channels, a fridge and microwave
