Great Stay at Tradewinds Great stay! The new trade winds lounge is on the first floor from previously on the eighth. Much more convenient. Food so far has been excellent. We were greeted by jackie and Kenner who both were extremely accommodating and welcoming the first day. It’s much more worth the money when the staff is so friendly and easy to deal with. Breakfast is at the restaurant next to the pool. Loved to see Tazi daily as she was an excellent and friendly waitress. The gentleman today, august 21st was helpful as well in the Tradewinds lounge. At the Aruba airport upon arrival; make sure u link your test to the Aruba health app, print your ED card, and you’ll breeze through. Took us about 15 minutes. I hear going home is a fiasco but I feel well worth it. Places are like half full which is another bonus as crowds aren’t an issue.

Honeymoon I’m going to be straight to the point. Pros: Hotel grounds are great Staff super friendly Good food and drinks Summary: everything you would want when you go on vacation. Cons: I exchanged emails multiple times with concierge regarding our stay and to let them that we were spending our Honeymoon at the resort for them not realize that when we checked in. I had to remind them multiple times it was our honeymoon. Finally someone at the front desk said they will send something up to our room. A day later we received a piece of cheesecake. Other hotels did A LOT more for just a birthday. We paid for premium ocean view room and we had a pool/partial ocean view. I was given a hard time multiple times that I was given the right room but after showing them the picture of my room and the picture of other rooms on TripAdvisor/Marriott website they finally realized we weren’t in the right room. You would think after making a mistake like that on a special occasion they would at least gave us a cart to move our luggage.. Of course not.. My wife and I had to repack and carry all our stuff to our new room. Thank you

Our favorite vacation!! Staying at the Marriott stellaris has been our FAVORITE place we have visited so far! We went for our honeymoon and it surpassed all of our expectations!! We stayed at the Tradewinds and the service in there was phenomenal! Edward worked in Tradewinds lounge and he was wonderful! So kind and helpful with whatever we needed, we want to go back just to see him! Beverly was also great who checked us in to the tradewinds! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will 100% go back. We felt safe (even during covid), did a few excursions that we LOVED, and the food at the hotel was AMAZING! We only ended up going out to dinner 2x because we loved the food at the Marriott so much! We would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone! The service from the moment arrived to the moment we left, was outstanding!

Disappointing We have been visting Aruba for over 15 years and it hurts me to write this review; however, the Marriott Stellaris Hotel is just not what it use to be. Like every other year, we booked a premium ocean view room and ended up with at best a partial ocean view room. When we inquired we were meet with a very smart remark from "Joshua" at the front desk that we got what we paid for. When we asked for additional pillows from the front desk and questioned why daily housekeeping was not occuring as it was requested at check-in; once again we received a very smart remark and nothing was delivered. The housekeeping and additional pillows were taken care of once we visited the front desk again when "Joshua" was not present. I wish I could say it end there in the decreased service; however, it did not. There was not enought wait staff on the beach and most days we ended up having to walk to get our own drink, request food, etc. It is just so sad because we know what the service has been and how much it fall. I honestly would have thought were were staying at a Holiday Inn or lower hotel chain. I would 100% recommend Aruba for your vacation as we love the island; however, I would strongly not recommend you stay at the Marriott hotel any longer as service is just not where it should be. I could continue to provide examples of issues; however, do not want to discourage travel to the island as it truly was just the hotel who was experiencing issue. Next year's trip is going to be booked in the next few week and I will say it will not be at Marriott which will be our first time on the island not staying here.
