Okay but expensive for what you get Positives: The room was nice. Spacious, well appointed, comfortable, nice balcony. Refrigerator and Keurig coffee machine. Excellent golf courses. Attractive resort, nice pool. Free self parking, plenty of spaces. Negatives: Very expensive and they nickel and dime you. Everything costs extra and is way overpriced. Biggest problem is they seem to be understaffed. We made a reservation for dinner but were told when we got to the restaurant (which was mostly empty) it would be an hour wait as they did not have enough waitstaff. Trouble getting anyone on the phone to answer questions. Cleaning person did not fully close the door to my room, anyone could have come in! Terrible breach of security. Bellman misplaced my golf clubs, it took quite a hunt to find them. My room overlooked three beautiful pools but they were for the spa use only and massages and facials cost upwards of $200. And when I called for an appointment there were none available.

We liked Palmer and Fazio courses but Match and Estates courses were great too. We swam in the pool played tennis and Pickleball and it was a super holiday. Pro Shop River Richer in the Pro Shop was very helpful with tee times and everything!! we had booked a tee time at the Palmer course and wanted to change it to a different course on a different day and he was able to help us with this easily. We have been to the resort before and River was very helpful in his approach and his demeanor.

Great hotel for families, weddings and business meetings! Our family spent 3 days at this wonderful resort hotel. We never had to leave the facility which was great. Enjoyed the large pool facility, game room, spa, etc. The selection of food and drinks served at the pool was excellent. Breakfast at Birdie's diner and dinner at the Honeybell restaurant met our needs. The rooms are attractive and super clean. But most important was the friendly service of all the employees, especially the front desk staff. We will be back next year. Highly recommend this hotel for families, weddings and business meetings.

It is a tarnished gem in Palm Beach that fails to live up to its name. Review of The PGA National Resort, Palm Beach When one chooses a high-profile destination like The PGA National Resort in Palm Beach, the expectation is an elevated experience: luxury, precision, and professionalism. Sadly, my stay from November 29 to 30 was a sequence of disappointments and troubling oversights that call into question the resort’s reputation. Room Cleanliness: Upon entering our room, we were met with an unwelcoming sight. Trash, including a baby’s pacifier, was left on the floor—an immediate indication that the room had not been cleaned properly. For a property of this caliber, such negligence is both unsanitary and unacceptable. Security Breach: The situation escalated further when, while my wife and I were in bed, a stranger entered our room, claiming the front desk had issued him a key. This lapse in security is egregious and deeply unsettling, raising serious concerns about guest safety and privacy. Key Access Issues: After leaving our room later, we returned only to find our keys deactivated. This inconvenience, while minor in comparison to other incidents, added to the growing frustration with the resort’s operations. Housekeeping Shortcomings: On the second day, our room was cleaned but no clean towels were left. When towels were finally replaced after a request, they were haphazardly piled on the bathroom counter rather than properly arranged. Such disregard for detail is disappointing for a resort that advertises itself as a luxury destination. Billing and Payment Chaos: The most alarming part of our stay came during and after checkout. My folio was incorrect, requiring me to spend an hour at the front desk to resolve the matter. Worse, unauthorized charges repeatedly appeared on my credit card. Fraud alerts were triggered, and my card was locked during the trip. Upon returning home, the nightmare continued. Despite assurances from the hotel that my card had been removed from their system, additional charges appeared days later—and even over a week post-stay, my credit card is still being fraudulently charged. Calls to the resort have yielded no resolution, with days passing and no follow-up from management. Final Thoughts: The PGA National Resort severely underdelivered in almost every aspect of my stay. From cleanliness and security to customer service and billing integrity, the resort’s performance was far below acceptable standards. What should have been a relaxing retreat turned into a source of stress and frustration. Until significant improvements are made to their operations, I cannot recommend The PGA National Resort to anyone seeking a trouble-free, upscale experience. For now, it is a tarnished gem in Palm Beach that fails to live up to its name. Rating: 1/5
