Great Relaxation Resort If you are looking for a place to relax, this resort doesn’t disappoint. I stayed in August 2024 for a week with my two sons, 6 & 10yo. We visited the pool and beach daily. The water was clean and comfortable temp in the pool, and the ocean was incredibly clear and warm as well - perfect for snorkeling. Our suite was very clean and comfortable. We missed having a traditional oven and struggled to figure out how to use the convection oven & microwave combo appliance. The bed is very comfortable and there are extra pillows for those who need them. The bathroom is spacious and has a dual vanity with plenty of shelving which was really handy for organizing health & beauty items, much easier than some places where you have it all over the vanity. The patio was nice and I enjoyed using the space in the morning/evening. The door is extremely heavy though and the track is not smooth so older guests beware. We also had daily visits from lizards (iguanas?) who would creep around on our balcony for a few hours which my boys found mildly entertaining. They would occasionally poop leaving a mess that we had to ask staff to clean up. There are guest laundry facilities but beware you have to pay $8/load + $1 for laundry soap. I thought having to go to the gift shop to buy my own laundry soap was a bit over the top. For $1 they might as well include it. The restaurant on property was ok, the food was delicious but the live music was overly loud and the lighting made it feel more like a club. We preferred to take our food to go and eat in our suite. The resort does a nice job of scheduling creative activities for children during the day, but there isn’t much for kids to do in the evening. We found that most of the popular local spots on the island are bars and restaurants, and the crowds there were rough and loud, though they had some live music during the week which was nice. Overall our stay was pleasant and we would recommend it for adults who are looking for a relaxation trip!

Very nice! The units are kind of small, but there is so much to do, we weren't in them much anyway! It's a very beautiful resort! I would say, use the laundry room at your own risk! Someone opened the dryer and stole all of our socks!

Resort on the beach The hotel has many perks. Our favorite is the tiki bar at the pool. We also enjoy the spa. The restaurant is good and convenient. There is a Publix near by. We have stayed here several times and always had a pleasant time.

Not a penny spent to upgrade Wonderful and courteous staff but helpless. There was no general manager to discuss complaints or recommendations. In 10 years they have not invested a penny to improve certain parts of the hotel. Our room was very old with damaged floor, and mostly dilapidated furnishings. It was very clean however. Cleaning personnel was great. The pool grounds were terrible. No chairs in the shade. No umbrellas and no huts to escape 100 degree heat. Shameful for older people. I have been to this hotel about 4-5 times over the last 10 years and the same issues I had continue with very little done to upgrade the hotel. At times there weren’t even enough chairs at the pool. There was a power outage and we couldn’t get into our rooms. We couldn’t get anything in the restaurants to eat for hours. After power was restored the hotel did nothing as a good gesture to make people feel better- no drinks, no nothing.
