Good, but could be great if they wanted I would give this a 3.5 stars. I would have given it a 4 stars, however they really over charged for drinks, food, etc. It was even 5 dollars for regular room service. Plus some of the restaurants closed early. They could do a lot better, with a few easy adjustments. Overall, the kids had a descent time.

Wanted to Love it! Took my family and parents here for Father’s Day, as our quest for a weekend getaway spot continued. I wanted to love this hotel and property, but it just continued to fall short again and again. The room was incredibly warm, no matter how cool we set the thermostat. The lobby bar has wonky hours and the Starbucks closes at 1pm, could have used a little pick me up after our drive in from Las Vegas. Valet parking was a mess, had to wait 10 minutes in the driveway while they tried to figure it out. We rented a $400 cabana and it was disgusting. There were glasses and drinks scattered through out, a pair of tweezers, and the table was sticky. Asked the staff for a wet rag to clean it off and they happily gave it to us (this should have been a hint for them to clean). The pool deck is also just painted concrete so on a warm summer day it is SCORCHING hot. Main restaurant in the hotel was nice, ate dinner there but the blinds were broken so we had the glaring sun in our face, had a good laugh about it with our server. Wanted to love it, but didn’t meet JW brand standards.

Good resort. Lame parking fee Great hotel, but beware of the nickel and diming. Been a frequent traveler at Marriott resorts for the past 10 years and excited to try the desert fridge resort. Located at the northeast side of Phoenix, definitely away from the hustle and bustle (well, 5 minute drive to a bunch of shopping and restaurants but relatively away). The resort is huge and relatively easy to find. A ton of staff to help valet and unload luggage (super friendly people) as well as warm and efficient check in staff. However (and I knew this going in), be prepared for a significant resort fee, not to mention on top of that a per day parking fee. Literally this hotel is located 30 min from downtown with nothing else around, and they charge parking. The rooms are a bit dated, the resort could use some updating. However rooms are large, plenty of room (though TV was laggy). Bathroom was huge and well appointed. Views depend though only a few actually have desert views. The amenities are top notch. Great tennis courts (go in the morning), free driving range (amazing!), bike rentals, ping pong, lots of pools. Overall you don't need to leave the property. Also welcome drinks are a great bonuz (though some of the largest upcharge on whisky I have ever seen). Overall may consider coming back but pricey, and parking leaves a bad taste.

Avoid this Place- hot and dirty We had a horrible experience here. It was 110 outside and 90 in our room. The ac did not work and the trip was miserable. I have stayed there many times but this was the worst as it has gone downhill. There were people screaming in the hallways, the room was dirty, and the customer service was terrible. My wife waited an hour because the key was not working for the third time of our trip. Avoid this place at all costs

Weekend Getaway My friends and I stayed here for a few nights for a golfing trip. The hotel is very nice and the pool area is great too. There are a few restaurants to choose from inside the hotel. There's a boat ride you can take too, but we didn't do that. There's also a Starbucks in the lobby if you're a coffee lover. Overall, very nice place to stay at. It would have been nice to have music at the lobby bar in the evenings as alot of guests go there to have a drink and socialize.
