Family stay Everyone was super friendly, my family and I enjoyed our stay, we would definitely do it again. The pool was great very clean, hotel rooms were clean as well. Everything is so close to us as well easy to order food or go out to eat with the family.

Never disappointed Always great stay. Happy hour bar and breakfast with custom omelets are perfect Rooms are spacious and ac always keep room cool from the 112 degree weather. Fitness gym is useful and pool is great for a deep. And best of all, price is reasonable.

Needs an update The rooms are definitely showing their age. It is in need of a serious makeover. Pool is on the smaller side. Everything is a little dingy and old. You have to pay for parking, which feels ridiculous at such a cheap hotel. This was a no-go for us.

Run Down Party Hotel I have stayed at countless Embassy Suites, some are new and glamorous and some are older and worn, but it is one of my favorite hotel brands as they deliver a relatively consistent and reliable experience. The hotel is a first-generation Embassy from the early 1980s with open air courtyard. The usual Embassy amenities were offered such as the evening reception and hot breakfast. The reception bartender was friendly, and the breakfast crew was efficient, but both were so short staffed they seemed demoralized and overworked to the point you felt bad for them. (Note to franchise managers/owners: this makes YOU look bad.) The room was sparse but clean and had been modestly updated with new carpet that smelled like it was just installed. However, the overall finish and condition of the facility was marginal and definitely showing age. But at one of the lowest prices in the area, that's not really a problem and is to be expected. What I wasn't expecting was the loud and raucous party vibe in the pool and courtyard in the late evening hours. I'll stop short of judging whether it's family-friendly or not as there were plenty of families during the day, but as the sun went down, drunk people hooting and hollering, pot smoking (I didn't see it but definitely smelled it), bumping music, and a generally rowdy young-adult club vibe took over the courtyard. I could have tolerated this if the noise ended when the pool closed at 10:00, but even after it closed, the party crew just moved out of the pool and carried on in the courtyard well past 1AM. While there's nothing inherently wrong with a young adult party scene, it's definitely not my scene and definitely not the vibe I'd expect at a mid-tier corporate chain like Embassy Suites. Perhaps a complete rebranding would serve this property best; I will not be returning.

DO NOT GO !!!!! So my family and I just got home from a weekend in Palm Desert and stayed at this hotel. Through photos, and HOTEL.COM, we thought we struck gold, but in reality, it was anything but. First, when walking in, it looks like such a clean, nice, esthetic hotel with a huge lobby and everything looked amazing, until we walked into our room. We were at room 106 to begin with, and the moment we walked in, there was a very STRONG odor of wetness and moisture coming from the carpet in living room. Next, the AC wasnt working much and it was very hot and humid in that room. Mind you, temperature outside was at least 115 degrees. My wife and I had to go to the front desk to inform them of the issues, and we were given a new room , room 249. Room 249 did not smell bad, however upon entering the bathroom, I had noticed lots of mold around the tub and grout was black in several spots. The bottom of the bathroom door had been water damaged and splintering as well as the lampshade in the living room , having some very gross looking mysterious stains, was not helping us out. The foldaway couch had tears, stains, tears and rips, therefore we did not stay in the room much at all over the weekend. Please be aware , that there is a parking fee 10 dollars per night , that the hotel expects you to pay with an app , that doesnt give you a printout or receipt, therefore , you have ZERO proof youve paid , and the hotel charges you, and makes you wonder how is your vehicle safe really? Also, in the bathroom, the hotel is to provide 3 bottles, one each with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and when I had called the front desk to let them know on our first night, that we were out of body wash ,they NEVER CAME. Highly unacceptable. The Good? Breakfast was pretty decent, and coffee and ice cold water provided upon entering the lobby, otherwise, DO NOT GO to this hotel. We found out that staying across the street at the MiraMonte/Tommy Bahama resort, would cost you about 20 dollars more per night, but its a RESORT.
