Comfortable Motel/Hotel in Palo Alto. This motel/hotel is located on El Camino Real, about 4 miles from downtown Palo Alto and is best accessed by car. There is ample free parking around the site. The rooms are in a number of buildings around the site, with water gardens providing a nice environment compared to many of the motels in this area. Our ground floor room was large, quiet and comfortable with quiet air conditioning. There is a good swimming pool although 8' deep at one end. Breakfast by the pool is from an al a carte menu with plenty of options. A senior discount was appreciated. While not cheap, value for money is good compared to some of the other poor-quality motels nearby that we have stayed in.

Great location, beautiful grounds, friendly staff! I usually book at big brand/chain hotels for groups, but I gave Dinah's a try and I am so happy I did. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. I took breaks throughout the work day to sit by the pool for a few minutes and walk to see the ducks on the gardens. The restaurant had a great selection, and everyone loved the food. The team at Dinah's was especially friendly and helpful, especially as I was trying to manage several rooms and expenses with the group. Thank you!

Great get away Quiet, peaceful. Lovely King Room. Handicap facilities were available and most helpful. Love the Koi pond with all the ducks. Pleasant walk through the pond area to the pool and restaurant. Look forward to our return visit. All the mature trees create a peaceful beautiful environment.

Wonderful Staff Want to give a special thank you to Alma at the front desk. I'm a travel agent and usually place groups at Dinah's but we have a family medical emergency and had to make a reservation for a family member who needs to be close to Stanford Medical Center. Alma was so kind when I called to ask the hotel to keep a lookout for our family during their stay. Thank you, Alma!

Disappointing I don't know why and who rated this hotel so high. Our experience here was not that good. The hotel was in general very old. The servic was inconsistent. I would give a good rate for their garden and cleaning lady’s work. But their pool was for small children and my daughter said it wasn't clean - hair in the water… The room was spacious. In overall, its not too bad… but it was overrated.
