Edgewater Golf Villa #2209 the Perfect Vacation Golf Villa #2209 At Edgewater Beach Resort We had an amazing stay at this condo. It was very well appointed and clean, bright and comfortable. It had all the amenities we would need to make our stay perfect. We enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony watching the ducks float by on the canal. There is a lot to do and the pedestrian bridge takes you right over to the beach! From March to October, a little tram can take you and your beach supplies over there. We had a fun but challenging game of golf and enjoyed the heated pool. It was a perfect January escape. We will be back!

Edgewater is Like a Box of Chocolates 2023 UPDATE: we wanted to come back in 2023 so we booked the same condo (Leeward 104). The day before our flight the management company called and said it had recently sold to new owners, and although they promised to honor existing bookings they had changed the locks and gone MIA. The manager didn’t have another property in that location so they agreed to issue a refund and we booked with someone else. When we got to our rental it was 80 degrees inside with the AC running full blast. They sent the AC guy who had already been there earlier in the day and said there was no refrigerant and he’d waited 3 hours to get on the roof. They let us look at two other units and we chose a larger one in tower 2. It’s fairly nice but toilets barely flush, bathrooms need paint and updates, there was confusion about where to get parking passes, and we had to get maintenance to fix the TVs. On top of all that, the original booking included parking and beach chairs. We had to pay $80 for parking and $65 plus tax/tip to rent chairs for one day. We went to Walmart and got chairs and an umbrella. Clearly the quality of the original condo was a fluke. I could just stay home with fewer headaches. We will not be coming back to Edgewater.

Enjoyed our stay! Very nice outdoor pool! Enjoyed our stay. Booked thru VRBO so picked our specific condo and dealt with the owner directly. Large pool and had entertainment thruout the day. Movies by pool, karaoke at night, Music during day. Condo was a little outdated on appliances but everything worked.

Edgewater beach resort Best pool on the gulf coast. The size alone is amazing. Island decor and Caribbean feel is the best! Be sure to book deluxe room for best rooms. Or directly through owner. Some rooms are not updated. We booked through Vacasa also for a great room.

Avoid itrip tower 2 unit 505 at all cost We stayed in tower 2 unit 505 rented from itrip. This unit does not have an ice maker. It is in the ad but the owner has removed it. She also locked the closet so you have zero storage. The drawers are broken and there is nowhere to hang clothes. The ceiling in the bathrooms is rusty metal that drips on you in the shower. The master shower is downright dangerous and slick to step out. The tub in there has that huge hole and they disabled the jets in the tub so who knows what kinda fink is in there. The bathroom rugs were filthy but I just picked them up and used towels. The plantation shutter in the master is a little broken and you can probably see inside. The wall in the other bath has a hole. The tables are all unsecured glass tops that are just dangerous. Owner also removed bracelets so the first night we couldn’t even go to the pool. Itrip didn’t care much at all. They promised me $50 back for ice and a 10% refund but I haven’t seen it yet. Itrip lady was nice and brought bracelets the next day but it seemed she couldn’t fix any of it. The glass top end table fell when my 95 pound 12 year old stood up off the couch. He didn’t even hit it. It’s just a dangerous room. Thankful nobody was seriously hurt. The resort itself is beautiful but spaced out. I would stay again in a different unit.
