Never Again Our family has stayed at the resort multiple times. However this last trip was horrible. I completely understand the wristband policy and have no problem following it. However, we met up with some friends that live in the area out on the beach, they had little children with them and inevitably one of them had to use the restroom. My wife offered to take her and their 5 year old little girl up to our room so she could go number 2. The hotel security wouldn’t allow them to pass and use the restroom. They had to basically sprint across the street and use the Waffle House restroom before she pooped her pants. It was ridiculous and embarrassing for us as guests and hotel management couldn’t have cared less or even be bothered to give us the time of day other than to state that it’s policy. Other than that the pool was overly dirty, the food and drinks are ridiculously overpriced and under value and the card readers on the door only work about half the time. There are far better hotels on Panama City Beach. Trust me, go elsewhere this hotel is more of a “only if you have no other option.”

Great beach hotel We stayed here in August if 2024 after bailing on a cruise that got caught in Hurricane Debby in Tampa. Decently priced oceanfront hotel. The place has everything you need for a beach trip. All rooms have a balcony and view of the ocean. We stayed on the 10th floor and had a great view of the beach and pools. There is a giant main pool, large hot tub, kiddie pool, and giant lazy river. There was also a splash park. There are a couple restaurants. The beachfront grill has really good food. We ate the grouper platter about three days in a row. It is really expensive though. We spent about $100.00 for lunch each day. There is an inside restaurant that has a coffee bar and paid breakfast. We had the coffee. It is also really expensive. Rooms were ok, nothing wrong with them. Just normal wear and tear from a beach hotel. Would stay again.

Fave Place to Stay in PCB Gotta share how much we loved Holiday Inn Resort Panama City Beach! This resort is our absolute fave. It’s super kid-friendly and it has everything! Each room faces the ocean and overlooks the pools (giant pool, lazy river, kid pool, hot tub, and splash pad). Entertainment everyday and night with live music, concerts, poolside movies. They have a game room with pool table & and ping pong tables. Plus they also have kid-friendly activities like crafts and games. There’s a market on site that has everything including beach toys, snacks, and basics. Spa available if you need to surprise your husband after he’s driven countless hours. Restaurants & Bar are on site, which can be pretty expensive but kids eat free. They just added in an ice cream shop! We only leave for breakfast to go to our favorite local cafe! Everything is right on the beach and you can go back and forth from the pool and the beach. They have umbrellas and chairs to rent if that’s your thing. Rooms are super spacious with a full size fridge with an ice maker! You can even watch the night entertainment from your balcony! Last thing: staff is all incredibly helpful and friendly. We always feel incredibly taken care of while we’re here!

Resort Atmosphere We stayed only one night before a flight out. Hotel was extremely busy with young families and has a resort like atmosphere. All rooms face the beach and have a balcony. Nice to sit and watch the beach (we stayed on a high floor). We enjoyed the outdoor bar and crab legs at the restaurant. None of us slept well, but the beds were fine. Might have been the constant on/off of the A/C. Double red flags at beach so unfortunately couldn’t swim.

Subpar, dingy & price gouging……. I’m a frequent flyer with IHG. I stopped at this location out of necessity for one night. I did not partake of the entire resort. My review is strictly based on the room, lobby & parking. Anyone paying more than $180/night (and that’s reaching) for the hotel is getting gouged!! The rooms are ultra damp, outdated and dingy. I don’t want to hear “it’s Florida so of course it’s damp.” My final destination didn’t have damp linens & a wet atmosphere regardless of the Florida humidity. This is a facility issue. Their ac wall units are exceedingly inefficient at even slightly keeping up with the weather here. Motel style rooms & halls (access from outside), broken fixtures, damp linens, dirty & reshuffled coffee pot, condensation riddled bathroom, dirty shutters, inadequate ventilation, gross/filthy carpet, grit on floors. Badly managed from the looks of it. I just needed to sleep for a few hours, but if this had been my final destination and had to pay the $440 “ocean front” premium for an actual vaca, I’d be po’d and move to another location. Definitely NOT worth the money they’re charging. Parking is also an absolute joke. I needed disability access and had to park across the street and be brought in by a golf cart. They have a valet area with parking. Why they couldn’t accommodate me was beyond irrational on their part. I specifically asked the valet if they could plz accommodate my need for disability parking and she said they were full. I passed three empty spots driving to the other parking area. The only perk was the front desk guy was really nice. I found the entire property grossly under maintained and subpar for them to call themselves a “resort.” Beyond grateful this was not my final decision.
