My Favorite Waldorf Stay We had a wonderful stay, and I just wanted to thank Breanna W. again for helping us with our room accommodations. We had a great experience…everything from the unique touches like the ski valet, to s’mores, hot cocoa aprés ski drinks, to bath robes in the room. We utilized both the gondola across the street to access the slopes, as well as the free shuttle service to ski another part of the mountain,l and to go into town in the evening. The complimentary shoe shine was also a welcome treat. We also enjoyed the two large hot tubs as well, much needed after long ski days. Only suggestion would be to offer complimentary parking for Hilton Honors elite members. We have stayed at this hotel twice now and would love to come back again.

$34 for cold chicken fat Had dinner there on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in ‘Powder’ restaurant. The chicken sandwich was all fat and cold. When we sent it back with the manager, he disappeared and never returned. We were then charged $34.00 for this inedible “meal” by our server.

Concierge is a waste of employment here. The one and only star is for the housekeeping staff which was phenomenal. The rest, abhorrent. Some background, I booked this hotel because it had across the street access to the ski lift, but come to find out if you are taking lessons at Park City you have to take a van over to that location or drive yourself so if you are taking lessons you are not using that lift. I was asked by the concierge helping us plan our trip if we needed transportation to a particular restaurant, but not the rest of the excursions which I had assumed was close and were not. I also would have appreciated some direction in planning like on the day of travel to not schedule the furthest excursion. On the day of our arrival we arrived at 2pm with dog sledding at 3pm. I asked right when we got there if they were driving us or we had to go ourselves. front desk confirmed they would pick us up between 2:30 and 2:40 for our 3pm appointment. 2:50 we asked them to confirm they were still coming. There was some kind of miscommunication and we were supposed to drive ourselves 45 minutes away. We were very lucky they were still able to accommodate us but in hindsight the pick up time didn't even correlate to arriving on time for our reservation which should have alerted front desk something was not right. On our way to dog sledding concierge asked if they could have something in our room upon our return for a goodwill gesture. I said a fruit and cheese plate would be great. Never came. I asked for them to send me how long it would take us to drive to each thing we had a reservation for. They never did. I asked them to change our dinner reservations for that night since we would be late after getting a late start. They canceled our alpine globe and rebooked an indoor restaurant reservation. When the restaurant left me a message asking to clarify, I asked concierge to call and confirm the alpine globe. They did not. After everything they offered a $300 hospitality credit. Are you joking? I was paying $1,600 per night for a suite, you have screwed up many reservations and not responded or delivered on promises and you want to give me a $300 hotel credit?! Awful experience. I will never be back to this hotel.

A Disappointing Stay at the Waldorf Astoria My recent stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Park City left much to be desired, despite the luxurious reputation of the brand. I had high hopes for a comfortable and restful night, especially considering the hefty price tag and the promises that came with booking through my AmEx. Upon check-in, I was initially assigned a standard room, but after inquiring about the promised upgrade, I was moved to a supposedly better room. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment as I entered the room only to be greeted by a strong odor of cigarette smoke. Understandably, I requested another room, which seemed like an inconvenience to the staff. Unfortunately, my troubles didn't end there. The alternate room I was given happened to be adjacent to the hotel entry road. My hopes for a good night's sleep were dashed when a semi parked outside at 3:00 am, abruptly awakening me with its blaring horns (or air brakes) and unloading activities. Despite my attempts to return to sleep, I found it impossible as my rest was further disrupted by subsequent disturbances from the truck. Upon check-out, I expressed my dissatisfaction to the front desk staff, who appeared sympathetic and promised to address the issue with the manager. Despite assurances of a follow-up, I left without resolution, as the staff was not available when I returned from retrieving my suitcase. Dishearteningly, my attempts to seek redress after the fact were met with silence. Despite a phone conversation with the hotel manager, who pledged to investigate the matter and promised to call me back, I have yet to receive any follow-up, even after three weeks. In summary, my experience at the Waldorf Astoria in Park City was marred by sleep deprivation in what was supposed to be a five-star accommodation. However, what was even more disconcerting was the lack of concern shown by the staff and the utter failure to follow up on their promises. Such lapses in service are unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber and have left me deeply disappointed.

Awesome hotel on the Slopes Great stay, with great service and stylish accommodations. The staff were incredibly helpful and the ski valet team was awesome. Would definitely stay again. The on site restaurant was great and the onsen/pool facilities were clean and very relaxing after a day on the slopes. Would highly recommend.
