Does not offer what it promises, you can do better These observations are factual and not in dispute. Shower does not drain. Restaurant is temporarily closed. Earwigs in bathroom. No beverage or food service offered outside of bar food in the lounge. Desk clerk told me she was the only person in the hotel until security arrived at 8 PM. ATM shorted me $20. Guess clerk did told me she did not know who to call or how to handle the ATM problem, “I’m totally by myself” Door cards were glitchy according to security. Red lion rents out monthly rooms and barbecues weight benches and patio furniture are intermixed with guestrooms. General manager, Cliff, informed me red lion no longer provides coffee in the rooms. Guests in the pool area brought in coolers of beer and 5 to 10 boxes of Little Caesars pizza. Garbage cans in and around the hotel and pool are over flowing with trash.

The free breakfast was delicious On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable, the TV had lots of channels, lots of pillows and the free breakfast was delicious plus plenty of food was offered. My husband forgot something expensive in our room and we had to drive back over an hour and it was no problem getting back into our room to retrieve it. On the down side, we had a 2 room suite and the décor was dated and it needed more lighting. There were two 4" very red rug stains next to the bed that should have been cleaned off / removed and the couch could also use a good shampooing. A knob to turn off the wall light was missing, and the "hot" water was cool enough that I bathed my toddler without adding any cold water to the tub, plus the tub spout didn't work and I had to fill up the tub from the shower. Only 2 sets of towels for a room of this size yet there were three of us. Overall I would stay again but my husband said he wouldn't.

Go anywhere else! Four of us decided to splurge and get a Presidential Suite, mainly because there was a large round table in the suite. This was the ONLY thing that was not a HUGE disappointment. Here is the list of horribly maintained, poorly designed and filthy items in this rat-hole room: -carpet is dirty and stained, there is a particularly large red/brown stain that looks like a scene from Dexter -white drapes are completely gross: smeared with brown and red smudges -the tap broke off of the sink (thank God it did not flood) -we moved the lamp next to the bed and under it was thriving black mold (yikes!) -there are two sliding doors to access the deck, one locks the other will not close leaving a 1/2” wind gap and obviously zero security -the private deck outside the room was littered with cigarette butts, with a “lovely” view of the noisy HVAC system -there are wires hanging out of the wall on the deck (frightening - can we get shocked?) -the heater/ac thermostat was not working fell off the wall when trying to touch it-required a guy to help turn it on) -the TV did not work, requiring a guy to come up and fix it: however this was a waste of his time as when the TV was working there was only ONE channel (a retro throw back to 1925 when TV was just invented, as we were blessed with lighthearted racism watching the old western show “Stinky Flannigan”) -the extra bed had no blanket or pillows, requiring a guy to deliver some -the bathroom is down two stairs and not lighted at night (I woke for bathroom and nearly tumbled in the dark) -we had to get the door keys reprogrammed 4 times in a 14 hour stay -the foldout bed had a long stiff wire that popped out and flipped wildly as the bed was being deployed (this hazard could be mitigated by providing safety googles (haha but not funny really) -the couch cushions are stained and filthy- but dont try to flip the couch cushions over hopping to get a clean surface as the back sides are even worse! -the pillows are like an overstuffed bag of Frosted Corn Flakes -the connivence bar was empty -the cups in the room were little plastic wrapped things that were weaker than the covering and would break trying to open them (wouldn’t the Presidential Suite have “glass”?) I would compare it to a Motel 6 but one would probably have a clean room in a Motel 6. The rest of the property is tired and in disrepair: frayed carpet and broken molding is pervasive. When you see repairs they are of poor craftsmanship and cobbled together. The description of the property has a pool and hot tub- it does bot mention both are outdoors and abandoned: there were ducks in the pool and thriving green algae in the hot tub. If you are thinking about blowing $400 on a room: our recommendation go anywhere else in Pasco Washington, pay full price and the set fire to the remaining money as it will be better utilized.

Great place I don’t understand why this place gets some bad reviews. It might be a little older but the place has character and all the rooms are different depending on which wing you’re in. I’m here frequently and I don’t understand why someone would pay 40 or $50 more to stay at one of the other hotels by here when this one gives me everything I want. It has a large TV and every room has a fridge and a microwave and it has free Wi-Fi with the work desk. The funniest has excellent service and if it wasn’t for Covid there’s restaurant right here so I don’t have to leave to go out for dinner.

GET NEW KEY CARD READERS The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating; hotel is clean enough and presents well in the lobby. My stays here are often due to business and the location and prices are reasonable. With that said, the rest of the hotel is old, run down, many of the outside doors do not work properly allowing people to enter without key cards many times or the keys just don’t work. The key card readers on the doors look like they are going to fall off at times & literally EVERY time I stay, I have to replace my keys AT LEAST once. No, I do NOT put it near my cell phones, credit cards, etc—I used to tell ppl the same when I worked at a hotel—the key card readers just plain suck. I know that times are difficult to the current pandemic situation so Thank you for finally opening some of your facility (ie gym by appt, restaurant) with appropriate precautions. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update your key card readers/door locks!
