Amazing views! Great place. It's wonderful having a heated pool, and the hot tub was nice to have, too. The views were amazing! Close to all attractive so you're able to walk to most places. It is so nice having the balcony off both the living room and the bedroom. Definitely would recommend and hope to return someday.

All We Needed Unit 903--A good mid-priced value with plenty of plusses and a few minuses. Plusses: Great view both sides, roomy, clean & bright, mostly updated, well-stocked, new Whirlpool appliances, good TV access, plenty of parking, good water pressure, quiet & efficient HVAC, newer fixtures, nice hot tub & heated pool. Some have criticized the elevators, but they must have been replaced because these were spacious, clean, new and quick...never a long wait and there are two. Minuses: Sometimes finicky gate code; BR2 bed is smaller than a queen. Major safety issue, ATTENTION MAINTENANCE: The upper outlet in all four duplex outlets in BR2 has faulty contacts. The outlet was firmly attached, however the contacts in the upper ones were loose, worn or bent causing the plug to fall out, and bending the prongs did not help. These outlets must be replaced.

Extremely disappointed!!! I was extremely disappointed in our stay at Emerald Isle this year. This was a family trip and we have 4 kids that are all preteen ages and we paid for 4 nights which was not cheap. We drove 10 hrs to get there late at night and the pin code they gave us did not work. Luckily we had someone let us in. We then called to get another code and they must have sent us 20 more that would not work and to make matters worse whoever the lady named Tracy is , was extremely hateful to my husband about it and said it wasn't her fault. We had no idea who could fix this. A very nice lady staying there was giving her code to everyone because no one could get in the main doors to the building or back in the gate from the beach access. Then both of the elevators kept getting stuck. Also our unit was unit 703 and the bathroom that my kids were using had a picture of a naked woman laying down and complete butt exposed. All of my kids saw this and we removed the picture until we had to check out. I will never return to this Condominium ever again! Many will not because of the very inconvenient issues and no staff to handle anything that might happen! Needless to say I have been furious my entire stay here! If I could gave gotten a refund and found something else that night I most certainly would have!

Fort freaking Knox Saw a comment about security, who needs security when you have 16 different PIN codes. Seriously, one to get in and out of the gate and building, one for the elevator (we stayed in 1703), then one to get into the room. Little stretch of a walk to the main shops if you have little ones, but doable. Pretty basic pool. 1703, nice, clean, simple. Personally not a fan of pedestal sinks as you don’t have much shelving. No dresser or drawers so you’re hanging everything. Basic cheap high top balcony furniture, would like to have a lounge seat. Tiny TV’s. Views are absolutely stunning, but I have to keep reminding myself which code to use to obtain that view.

NO Security This is my second stay at Emerald Isle. I really like the complex, however there were some very serious issues. First - there is NO security or staff. We were there a week and saw only two guys, one day, in the early morning cleaning one of the pools. There were drunks smoking and drinking in the hot tub as well kids up on the ledges running around. NO ONE came out. It made for an unpleasant time. I emailed the HOA about this but they never responded so I wrote this review.
