Above and beyond staff I recently had a stay here and I was impressed with the staff, and on this occasion Taylor B, the staff in the lobby is so worth mentioning! I had a bit of a mishap with one of the vending machines on the floor and he was absolutely professional, courteous and patient with me. He took care of the problem at no cost and offered his sincerest apology. It may seem like a small detail but it’s worth noting this was all happening 5 in the morning. It’s not often we meet people like Taylor B. quick with excellent problem solving and people skills. I enjoyed my stay at this resort immensely. The rooms are clean, the pool is convenient and the beach too is located conveniently super close to the venue but again, its the people that work here is what’s special about this place!

Great kids programming! This was a last minute booking through our credit card and it was unclear which room we were getting. When we arrived, the staff was so kind and we got a great kids suite. It definitely needed some cosmetic maintenance but it didn’t deter from our stay. They had an ice cream shop, a great tiki bar, and daily visits from mermaids and pirates that kept our kiddos entertained for a few hours. They were so great with the kids. They also had nightly kids movies and popcorn at the pool. Elevators were easy to get. There were 2 ways to get to the beach, one was a ramp which made it easier to haul beach gear. We typically stay at a private Vrbo property to avoid fighting for elevators but we would definitely go back here for the kids entertainment.

NO respect for a disabled guest! This hotel has no respect/regards to anyone with a disability. We were traveling with a child that was in a power chair. None of the chair lifts worked! They were all down the entire stay. They never got them fixed so we were told that we could go to the hotel NEXT door and use their pool. To begin with, they put us in a room that was not handicapped accessible, and then after we were put in the correct room, they gave us a shower with no fold down chair for him to sit on. We called the front desk and they finally brought us some dirty chair that just goes in and out of the shower. The food and drink manager had his car blocking the wheelchair ramp and gave us an ugly attitude when we asked him to move it because we could not get in the entrance. We complained to the front desk and they acted like we were the problem. The front desk manager had the nerve to call me and tell me that my family member can not say things in the lobby like she was because she was upset that her son was embarrassed about being stuck in the chair lift. I made complaints and they could have cared less if we had a bad vacation because of problems that we ran in to and the mother of our disabled family member was upset during the vacation. They offered me a 200 credit when I had spent over $4,000.00 to stay there for our trouble. Wow..! These people are clueless about being ADA compliant!!

Great Staff and View The best staff. Rema A. At checking was great. Friendly and attentive to our needs. Easy access parking. Lazy river to entertain kids. Second to the staff is the view. Not all rooms have a pal only but plenty of seating around pool ant tiki huts.

I’ll keep writing until I get a response I left a review that complained about our stay. I received a prompt response to contact the office which my husband did twice. NO ONE called us back or contacted us. That’s too bad. This could be a really nice resort but they obviously don’t care about their customers experience. If anyone reading this is interested please read my original response. Save your money stay at the campground across the street and you still get free access to the pool area full of lime wedges and wet diapers. Good luck.
