Hotel Pensacola

Gross Rooms Everyone at the front desk was very helpful, but the rooms we got were digusting. There was mold all over the bathroom shower, floor, and around the lamp shades. The floor was filthy. Left our feet black and turned all the floor mats brown. The bathroom door was covered in what looked like pee splatter or bloody finger prints. They were nice enough to let us switch rooms once one was available, but the new room wasn't much better. Floors were still filthy and the water pressure was awful. I wouldn't stay here again but the front desk did what they could. The housekeeping was awful and never came when we requeted they clean the first room.

Well rested for work We had a front desk staff named Carmen Johnson. Who was very helpful. Fairy plaza and ran above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we wanted and needed. She was happy plesent and made us feel very welcomed every time we saw her. The rooms were big the bed was comfortable and we had a jacuzzi tub in our room.

Highly recommend Very clean modern hotel as we walked in. Helpful and kind staff. Room very clean and comfortable. Hallways have no odors. Only negative, only a minimal continental breakfast. We were prepared and brought our own. This location is along “car dealership” road it seemed. Hotel set back off the road behind a dealership. Is a 30 minute drive to the National Naval Aviation Museum which we highly recommend to go to. We saw the Blue Angels fly, too.

Good Hotel We liked the Hotel Pensacola a lot. Very good value for the money. Clean, comfortable and good service. We liked that you can take breakfast items to your room. I have to add a few more words to reach the required word count. I don't know if these last words are particularly helpful.

Great for Pet Owners - Thanks Shawna & Ethan When you travel with pets, there’s always an issue with where do you stay. There are several sites that can help with finding pet friendly hotels and but after reviewing the listings, we’ve always found it best to call ahead and verify the details. While traveling west, we found ourselves stopping in Pensacola for the night. The pet welcoming site (I can’t list the URL but use the description and it’s easy to find) listed a independently owned hotel that was highly rated. We normally lean towards chain hotels but decided to checkout this location - again the reviews were excellent. We called ahead and spoke to Ethan and he advised they did have vacant pet friendly room for the night so we decided to check it out. As we headed toward the Hotel Pensacola, we noticed it was not far from I-10 and there was a car dealership right in front of it. Not a deal breaker but it did make us wonder. WOW! This might be one of the cleanest and nearest hotels we’ve ever seen. Everything is like brand new! We booked a room instantly. The pet friendly room had wood floors (easy to keep clean), 2 double beds with a desk and sitting area and a full size apartment style refrigerator. The room was immaculate. We had a couple of cats with us and they did not detect that any other pets had been there. The hotel also has well lit, free parking and a very nice workout room. The pool area looked nice but it was too cool to try it. The TV had every streaming service we’ve ever seen. The hotel was very quiet and after being on the road all day, both of us and our guys slept great. We spoke to Ethan several times and he was helpful. And there’s no problem getting Door Dash food delivered to your room. The next morning we enjoyed the coffee and pastries offered in the lobby. We received a great Good Morning from Shawna the Day Manager and complimented the hotel and the conditions. She advised they were working hard to make it look great and it shows. In this case, the great online reviews were correct - this is a great property and is wonderful for pet lovers. Many THANKS to Shawna & Ethan for a great stay. We would recommend it to any travelers and pet owners will love it. Please be aware there is a charge for pets but it’s worth it to have a great place for the night.
