Independence Park Hotel, BW Premier Collection

Great stay in Philadelphia! Beautiful hotel in a great location near all Philadelphia has to offer. Breakfast included and parking nearby. Staff was very helpful. Rooms modern and well decorated. Cookies and tea each afternoon and wine and cheese on Wednesdays. We were very happy with our stay.

Great hotel right in the middle of everything This hotel is perfectly placed for walking and visiting sites in the Old City. It's right across from the Museum of the American Revolution; three short city blocks from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell; close to numerous pubs, restaurants, bars, cafes and bus stops; and short walk to the waterfront at Penn Landing. Our room was modern and clean, had all the tech updates, the bed was comfortable and we could operate the a/c ourselves, which was a plus, as it was 95 outside when we visited. Good value for the money spent - including a full American breakfast. The staff is very pleasant and helpful - we asked numerous questions about site-seeing and getting around. There is no onsite parking - but the parking garage is only 2 blocks away, so no problem there as we weren't going to use our car at all on our visit.

Wonderful Hotel - We Will Be Back The hotel is beautiful and the beds are wonderful - slept like a baby. The entire staff (from the front desk to maid service) went over and above to make our staff relaxing and enjoyable. The breakfast was yummy and parking arrangement were seamless. Fabulous stay from beginning to end!

Great location, very nice hotel experience The number one feature of this hotel is the location. It is so close to Independence Park and very accessible to public transit. We stayed for an end of school year family trip. The hotel has a boutique feel and the historic elements are very cool. We had a queen and sleeper sofa interior view room, which was a little tight for a family of three but we made it work. The hotel room was very clean and the linens were nice. I give kudos to the housekeeping staff because it was top notch throughout the stay, and I appreciated the daily cleaning which made coming back to the hotel room after a long day of sightseeing feel so amazing. My son thought the sofa bed was quite comfortable. While the bathroom was on the small side it was well laid out. We appreciated the large closet in the room for keeping suitcases out of the way and it had a large bureau inside which was good for unpacking clothes. We had the free breakfast several times and it was good for getting started for the day. My son loved the on-theme waffles. There are also several coffee shops nearby that provide a nice option as well. The staff in the breakfast room and throughout the hotel at the front desk and in housekeeping were extremely friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Wasn't satisfying My stay wasn't satisfying due to the air conditioner wasn't working the room temperature was 72F. I called down the front desk the first night to complain all I was told that it will take an hour to work. Second time I complained the front desk worker stated that he will send the manager an email she can set from her place. Thanks to the housekeeper (Deb) she gave us a fan which helped a bit but the room was still hot. No maintenance guy or the front desk workers didn't come to the room to check out the Air Conditioner. Deb came to see if it was on which it was on. The rating for the hotel I'll be giving is a 2.
