Filthy rooms, bedbugs I stay over on Thanksgiving weekend. What a nightmare. If I could give zero star I would. For room we were given smells like cigarettes smoke. Shower curtain missing and stain all over all the fixtures. Disgusted I called the front desk right away. She moved us to a different room. Room was not perfect but seems a bit cleaner. Nope!!!! Second night into staying we woke at midnight to find bedbugs walking around in one of the bed. Called front desk and she could offer was a wheelchair accessible room. At 1am we had to pack all our luggage to move to a different room which wasn’t ideal or much cleaner but at that point in needed to get my kids back to bed.Continental breakfast is another issue. You are only safe with bagel and coffee. Everything else tasted disgusting. At check-in we were told they will be evening reception every afternoon at 5 pm. In all 4 nights never happened. Stay away from this place. Spent over $1000/4 nights for crappy service . Housekeeping is not doing their job at all.

room not ready hours after check in check in was at 3, they still don't have a room for me for the next hour and say they have no idea when a room will be ready. meanwhile, I have an event to go to and can't even settle into my room when I showed up 2 hours before the event. the front desk customer service was terrible, not even an apology and a lot of attitude when I am very polite and apologetic. many of the outlets in my room didn't work as well. the room I ended up getting hours later was very nice besides the outlets.

Stay somewhere else! Some $250 hotels are $250 hotels. Some are $150 hotels sitting on $100 worth of real estate. And some are $75 hotels sitting on $100 worth of real estate and just suck. Guess which one this is. Low water pressure- it's a relatively new building so it shouldn't have problems. The shower shouldn't shut off for a few seconds several times. And the sink's water pressure was worthless even at midnight. The desk clerk said it's because the hotel is full. But how many people are showering at 7 AM? Not most. Anyway, you're supposed to build a hotel to able to handle being full. Breakfast was disgusting. Eggs were bad powdered eggs. I've had edible powdered eggs. These were not. Orange juice? Well, I don't expect fresh-squeezed. I know that OJ is sour. This was too sour, and bitter. Either it's the worst OJ available or they never clean the dispenser. Or both. The bread was edible. But the jelly and cream cheese were not in little containers. They just had a big vat of each. Which means you're subject to whatever double-dipping anybody has done. And how many days did the cream cheese sit out for four hours? There are better hotels around Penn for roughly the same cost.

NEVER AGAIN They allow homeless people to hang out inside lobby area. When we arrived to check in, there was a barefoot disheveled man in tattered sweatpants sleeping on one of the lobby sofas. We arrived at the “complimentary” breakfast to find a line of upset people because there were dirty tables, no clean dishes for guests, empty coffee and hot water dispensers, no food— eggs were completely gone. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Management should be embarrassed that their breakfast crew cannot even prepare in advance for breakfast. Would never come back. No one is supervising and how can you allow random street people to lounge in the lobby? Not safe for children.

A home away from Home! My husband had to come to Philadelphia for a medical procedure and if we had to be away from home for a month, I’m glad we had to spend it at the Homewood suites at Hilton! Everyone who is employed here is friendly and always willing to fulfill every request! To name a few: -the girls at the desk, Tyanna, Lee and Diamond are super friendly and took care of every detail down to suggesting local good restaurants! - the valet crew were all awesome, particularly Jimmy and Gabriel! - Margaret was always so cheerful and helpful at our FREE multi items hot breakfast! - the Girls who took care of our room, kept it clean, well stocked with towels, clean sheets, and toilet paper, and they were willing to do anything we asked regarding their job! - we met James, the Homewood Suites Ambassador a couple of days before our check out. He was very down-to-earth and informative.
