A lovely retreat along with nice treats. The pillows were the fluffiest I have ever felt, and there were NO bugs or insects in the room. The microwave oven worked very well cooking and heating up my food, and the refrigerator and the freezer kept my food nice and cold, and kept it from spoiling. The lady and people who worked there in the office were very kind to me and attentive;also I am in a wheelchair and I am a senior trying to live on a low income and she gave the the wheelchair accessible room and thank God it was available. And there is a barbecue grill there on the property;many hotels DON'T have that. And the television had a lot of good channels so I was able to watch a lot of good movies, and rest and eat and sleep and have fun. Thank You.

RESUBMITTED: CANCELED RESERVATION IMMEDIATELY! I had to resubmit this review because the company thought I MUST be reviewing another property. I double checked the address -- nope, this is the correct location where I didn't even stay because it was THAT BAD. Here is my review: I don't know how, but the ratings and the nice photos listed DO NOT reflect the current state of this place. The front desk was very nice, but once we got in the car to drive closer to our room, that's when it all came downhill. I guess they allow people to reside in some of the rooms, so they are hanging out on the balconies and stairwells watching your every move. My boyfriend got out of the car to check the room and I stayed inside with the doors locked (I am not being dramatic, I was seriously concerned for my safety in broad daylight). While I waited in the car I saw a lady open her hotel room that she had been living in with dogs roaming and her room looked like an episode of Hoarders. I also saw one guy staring down at me from the second floor, covered in tattoos, wearing a wife beater tank and didn't seem friendly. I also saw two other men pass by the car; one was half naked, looked like he hadn't showered in days and was talking jibberish, the other guy I saw looked like he was in a gang. Meanwhile, my boyfriend saw people hanging out in the stairwell, blocking the path to our room. They were staring at him and seeing which room he would be in. The room next to ours had a large dog crate outside. When my boyfriend entered the room, a huge cigarette stench hit him. The room looked dirty and the toilet still had toilet paper in it. The room obviously was not cleaned. Our plans were to check in, unpack and head to the Chase stadium for a ball game. We both agreed that our personal belongings would not be safe in the room while we were going to be out. We drove back to the lobby to turn in our keys as we will not be staying there. We both went back to front desk and canceled our reservation. The lady sympathized with us and seemed like she already knew about the situation. Luckily, she canceled our reservation with a full refund. I am so thankful and gracious for that.

Surprised in a not so good way Pre-covid, we would stay here due to its proximity to GCU. So this past weekend May 1-2 we decided to return. We were really surprised, we arrived in the early evening (dark) and there were sketchy people near the stairs and around the property. Some staying there and others around looked disheveled maybe homeless. We proceeded to our room and it only got worse. The floors were filthy, trash on the stairs, from cups to paper bags to trash bags. It just looked abandoned in a way.

My reservation was decline without my knowledge Horrible, terrify!! The most awful reception person! I booked a hotel room more than a week ago. I traveled from LA to Grand Canyon and decided stay here resting from a long road. I arrived at 10pm and the reception woman told me "We are overbooked". What? I booked the room and received to nothing! My reservation was decline without my knowledge. There was rude rejection without apologize!
