Payed off someone for that 4 star rating! This is at best a 2 star hotel. Just read the reviews! My experience: there is a homeless commune 2 blocks south of the hotel. I had to drive by the homeless camp to get to the hotel. The hotel parking lot is dark, sketchy and very unsafe. The neighborhood is extremely ghetto. Both of the rooms (I transferred rooms because the first room was too run down- the second room wasn't much better) were old and unmaintained. Plaster from bad patch jobs and old ground in stains in the bathroom. The rooms have "in wall" a/c units. The ONLY type of hotel that has that are 1 & 2 star hotels. The a/c unit wouldn't shut off no matter what setting it was on. And the hotel played extremely loud music in the pool area all day and most of the night. It was so loud I could hear every word and beat in my room. I had to wear earplugs during my entire stay. When I wanted to watch t.v. I had to have the t.v. volume at 60 so I could hear the t.v. over the rude music blasting in the pool area. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

2 star hotel & nonexistent spa will rip you off This 2 star hotel will rip you off. Here's how: they will charge your "refundable" deposit a $28 PER DAY "resort fee". This is not a resort or a real spa. This is what I was told the "resort fee" is for: 1. Pool access (any other hotel the pool is free). 2. Basic WiFi access (any other hotel the WiFi is free). 3. Spa access (the "spa" is 1 massage therapist). There isn't an actual spa it is just a massage therapist. I called the "spa" to schedule a massage and the massage therapist was booked the entire time that I was there. So, the "spa" was completely unavailable. From 8am to midnight the hotel plays loud obnoxious music in the pool area. You will NOT relax pool side at this "resort". The basic WiFi is to weak to be useful. I used my data plan the entire stay. So, I was charged $28 per day for: access to a pool that I couldn't relax in; WiFi that was useless; and a "spa" that was completely unavailable. This two star hotel WILL rip you off!

I was there from sept 13th -16th The beds are low to the ground. The rooms do not have a microwave, safe and the refrigerator doesn’t get cold. The water gets lukewarm but not hot. They don't have an ice machine, so you must get ice from the front desk. The front desk can not warm your food up. The staff were friendly, depending on who was at the front. The tub was outdated and the restroom did have a lot of space. I had a two-bed queen suite. There are light switches in the room but no light. They use lamps to light up each room. They did have plenty of big mirrors to take pictures in front of. The hotel is kinda on the outside of downtown area. I suggest staying closer to Glendale are or Scottsdale area.

Decent Room for the price I stayed here for a week while my Daughter was in a nearby hospital. The room was clean and had no issues. There was a bit of noise / music up until 10 PM (12 on weekends) with the music playing, but it was so loud you couldn't watch TV, etc. and be distracted. One observation: Restaurant opens at 8 AM, but you can't order breakfast until 9 AM - I was only able to get coffee and a slice of walnut bread. Perhaps this is because it's off season. Same type of issue with the bar - closes at 9 PM and the pool is open until 10. One Comment It was in excess of 110 Degrees. An unhoused gentlemen came in and asked for water to fill a milk jug and a couple water bottles, and was turned away by the male desk clerk. I gave him $20 to buy water. He could have provided the guy with tap water at no cost. Please have some compassion.

Interesting, and being update (aparently). Pot friendly with an extra fee. Our suite, room 218, was comfortable and sparse, with two double beds and no view. The beds were great but the room needed updating. A coffee machine and small fridge were provided. The pool area is attractive and comfortable day and night. We were not bothered by noise and they provided free parking. The bar and restaurant are separately owned and very good. The rooftop has no shade and not much of a vew. On our last night the pool and rooftop were closed to guests and our ammenity expense for the day was refunded.
