Lat Staycation Before Schho Starts Fantastic property! Great views, delicious breakfast, wonderful evening reception. Alexander happily greeted me at check in. The breakfast buffet was always full. The evening reception staff were on their game each night. I'm sorry I only recall Nichole's name, but everyone who served us was just delightful! One night we tried the restaurant during the evening reception. It was perfect! Great food and we never had to leave the property. An all around excellent stay!

Horrible choice of hotel We had checked in an hour later from our check in time and when we tried to shower the tub was cracked and dinged on the floor of the tub, it felt like there was hard stuck dirt to the bottom of the tub. The shower water was not draining when we would shower and the water would stay cold and not get any hotter. The doors of the bathrooms would not close unless you slammed and pushed them as hard as you could to just shut the door, which was very inconvenient when trying to shower/use the bathroom when others were sleeping. Even walking with socks in the ground felt very grimy and dirty like leftover dirt or trash had been left on the ground. I also had a service animal accompanying me on my trip like he does everywhere and they questioned me on him so much even though he is registered as a service animal and performs his tasks when he needs to. They said they would "waive the fee this time", as if he wasn't my service dog assisting me and behaving himself/ no barking or causing a ruckus. If you guys don't believe people when they say they have a service dog why say you accommodate service animals and make the owner feel like crap

Poor choice on my part I will start this review by saying that I did speak to staff on site about concerns, and was only told either "thank you," or "I'm sorry to hear that." This is a frustrating response when you expect more from a $681 (5 night) stay--and that is with Hilton Honor's pricing. I have stayed at this hotel before several years ago and my previous experience was what made me make this reservation; I was disappointed that I did so. I visit Phoenix often and will not make the same mistake again. The hotel is in a great location and is close to major highways, shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. They offer an afternoon reception of snacks and drinks, as well as a large selection of breakfast choices. I am vegan so my choices were fruit and oatmeal. I never expect to be catered to due to my food choices but am sharing my choices only. There are many options of eggs, meats, yogurts and bread for others. There are two lovely women making pancakes, waffles and omelets for people if you like; get their early as our experience was after 7:30am the line for those items was long and out the door of the eating area. When I reserved my room two months out, I asked for a top floor room on a quiet side of the hotel (we were traveling with my 7 year old granddaughter). We were given a 1st floor room on the end hallway nearest a golf entrance. 5:00am-6:00am we were awaken by lawncare machinery, garbage pickup, or announcements for tee times. The room itself had a spacious 'living area,' but the bedroom is pretty tight with 2 double beds and a dresser. In terms of cleanliness, the room ceiling had large cobwebs and spiders, daily ants on the 'kitchen' counter, and bedroom curtains with tears and a burn hole in it. The floors never got vacuumed, and our garbage wasn't removed daily. We did get fresh towels and the beds were remade. There is a tub/shower and toilet in a separate room from the bathroom sink/vanity. Most days we had to run the shower on the hottest setting for 10 minutes just for lukewarm water; this was with showering both in the morning and at night. There were occasions where the water was normal warm temperature. There is an outdoor pool that surprisingly was rather cold and needed a good cleaning (inside the pool/tile was murky). On several occasions there were no pool towels to be had (we did ask the front desk) but also just ended up running back to our room wet as the towels never came. The pool is in the shade come afternoon/evening so morning swims may be the most comfortable. There was no ice machine or washing machine on the first floor. We needed to hunt those down on the opposite side of the hotel on the 2nd floor. Dogs are allowed in the hotel and no rooms are designated as 'dog free' if you have allergy concerns. Parking is charged at $11/night with .95$ tax added on--it's an open parking lot (no gates; no sun coverage, etc). I didn't think this charge was warranted at all. When traveling to the area, compare prices between hotels, VRBO's and AirBnb's; we thought this was a better choice, but are sorry for our decision.

One of the top Embassy Suites in the area! Was warmly welcomed (after leaving a different, local Embassy Suites) by Sean and Merriane of the front desk team with energy and hospitality. Evening reception is great - Spencer, Emmery, and Alyssa are fantastic to talk to and get local travel advice from. The rooms were clean and look to have been recently renovated with updated TV services (streaming options). Even chatted with George in maintenance when he came to fix something, very knowledgeable and will try to make everything just right! Breakfast chefs and wait staff are all amazing. Tables were flipped and cleaned quickly and the omelette station line and all moved along briskly. Great job to this hotel and its management on providing exceptional service.
