Worst place ever WHATEVER YOU DO, PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. We went on a family vacation and booked a room almost a month in advance. When we arrived to check in the lady at the desk said let me see if we have any rooms with 2 beds. I thought the purpose of making reservations was to secure a room. Any way she said she had 1 room and to let her go see if it was clean. It took her a minute to return. While waiting for her to return two people came in that looked like drug addicts. Finally we check in and get the keycard to the room and when we got to our room there was a big bag of trash sitting right across from our door. 3 days later it was stil sitting there, we had to go to the front desk and ask them to remove it. We also asked about housekeeping and was told that they come around once a week, unless you request them. We entered the room there were 2 bed 1 was fine but the other one had a mattress that was to small for the bedframe. The phone didn't work, it didn't even have buttons to press. We called front desk front our cellphone and was told they would find us another phone, but we never got one. The tv was in the center of the room. One of the lights in the room didn't work. We had a small table with 2 chaiirs, the kitchen included a microwave, refrigerator and a stove top. The cabinets were nasty. The bather had a very dim light and you could barely see, the toilet had no cover and they supplies 1 and a half rolls of tissue. There were 3 towels 2 small bars of soap and when you take a shower the water run all over the floor. The sink was outside of the bathroom. The last night of our stay, we started seeing roaches. This hotel is definitely in the worst part of Phoenix. Homeless people and drug addicts everywhere. TRUST ME YOU DO NOT WANT TO STAY HERE.

Do not book it Made a reservation via Priceline in advance. Arrived at the hotel evening, was told that the reserved room was given to someone else and there is no room available. Was told that they will cancel the reservation and I would get refund. They hasn't cancelled yet and never received refund. Called multiple times and keep saying they cannot cancel. They are saying I received service from this hotel. Still disputing the charge. Worst experience. Never, Never, Never use this franchise again. Neither use Priceline for good.

Air Conditioning didn’t work The A/C didn’t work and I had to end up leaving at 10pm because I woke up sweating, I checked in at 4pm and I called about getting a refund and the lady told me she would “Gift Me” 3,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. That’s the equivalent of about $20 worth of a stay. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m a platinum Elite member with 50+ nights per year. Do not ever stay here! I will be demanding a full refund or I’ll never stay at a Marriott property ever again.

no compassion, no customer service, lie to get the person off the phone. Booked thru Expedia paid for 1 night, came into town for a medical procedure with my Cardiologist. I'm retired and disabled, upon arriving at HomeTowne Studios, I tried to check in, they asked for a $100 deposit, I said i was not informed of the deposit so I handed the clerk a $100 bill, stated he could not accept it needed to be on a credit card. I told the clerk I had used up my credit as I had to pay my deductible for my medical procedure, mind you I had traveled over 4 hours one way. He said I could go to the bank and put money on my card at 5:48 pm, still refusing to accept my $100 cash deposit. This whole incident was because the clerk Brian does not like Hispanics. I finally reached Expedia, at their call center in the Philippines, the 1st person said it was my fault and I should have read the fine print, nothing they can do to help a retired, disabled person who already prepaid -go pound SALT. I called the 2nd time this clerk checked and said their nothing they can do but would refund my money, just needed to confer with their partner HomeTowne Studio, but whatever happens they will refund me. The following day I received an email stating pound salt no refund. Just wanted everyone know before you use Expedia or book a room with HomeTowne Studios BE VERY CAREFUL, If you would like I recorded the whole incident for your listening pleasure. Overnight medical stay The staff was super helpful I am wheelchair bound and they made sure I had a bottom floor, no elevator. If you can afford somewhere else go there. We killed at least three roaches and didn’t even touch the shower it was filthy and damaged. Holes in wall and just gross. The employees were great and the clientele that was staying seemed like mostly construction workers perhaps
