Another great stay We stayed at the Kimpton Phx with our family to attend the Blue Jays games. This was our second stay in 3 months and we love it mostly for its location. Being directly across from the footprint Center and down the street from Chase field is very convenient. It’s also a block from FRYs so groceries are easy if you feel like eating in. The rooms are nice enough but last time we stayed we had a suite which we preferred. Overall this is a great place to stay as a couple or with the kids. The pool has a nice vibe and the food and drinks were great.

Highly recommend!!! Absolutely loved this hotel! Room is really nice. Located in the middle of downtown by great restaurants, shopping and sports arena. Staff was incredible, especially Drake at the front desk. He was so helpful and very kind. Coffee and water provided all day then wine at happy hour. Rooftop Pool and Bar were perfect! Definitely be back!

The rare “must-stay” hotel in DTPHX This a wonderful contemporary hotel in the heart of Downtown Phoenix near most entertainment venues. Rooms were spacious and well-designed. Select decor items showed wear and tear but our room was very clean. There are plenty of power outlets and the desk was functional while I worked. Our bathroom was spacious and the shower had great controls and water pressure. The highlight of this hotel is the incredible staff. Housekeeping staff was warm and accommodating. The host at the complimentary social hour was friendly and engaging - a great ambassador for Downtown Phoenix. Pool attendants and Eden bartenders were attentive and quick. Kudos to Dylan (sp?) at the front desk who was incredibly efficient, kind, and knowledgeable. He set the tone for an amazing stay.

Fantastic stay in downtown Phoenix This was my first stay at the Palomar Phx. I love the design and esthetic of the property but the staff are what make it special. Molly checked me in and was a delight! Dylan was very helpful when I had any requests. We went to wine hour and they had a surf and turf bite that was so delicious! Can’t say enough about this hotel and staff.

Urgent Attention Needed: Cleanliness Standards Falling Short My recent stay at Kimpton Palomar Phoenix was a mix of highs and lows. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, facilitating an early check-in and even upgrading my room, which was a pleasant surprise. However, upon entering the room, my excitement quickly faded. Not only was the cleanliness subpar—with a concerning pink-red substance in the trash can, visibly deteriorating furniture, coffee stains on the nightstand, and food or other debris on the floor—but there was also a pervasive musty smell. Additionally, the state of the baseboards and walls was disappointing. As someone who has enjoyed the luxury of Kimpton properties before, I was let down by the stark contrast. While the staff's efforts were commendable, the room failed to reflect the standards of a four-star hotel. Despite the positives, the cleanliness and maintenance issues significantly detracted from the overall experience. My experience fell short of the standards expected from Kimpton Palomar Phoenix, and I hope that the management will consider offering compensation or alternative measures to address the inconveniences encountered during my stay.
