Excellent Resort Vacation Spot Upon arriving at the resort with my wife and daughter we all expressed amazement...well kept manicured lawns, plenty of "green stuff" (trees), and a very welcoming staff both at the main entrance and the registration desk. Entering the resort gave all of us a very good feeling of being there to enjoy ourselves. The selected room was very accommodating which provided us with an excellent view of the pools and interior grounds. Throughout our 5 day stay the majority of time was spent lounging near the various pools and just floating down the "lazy river." This was the best part. Of course, if my wife and daughter was very pleased.....then I was pleased. Overall, everyone truly enjoyed their stay and we are planning on a return trip to the resort.

Amazing summer getaway This was our first family vacation to Arizona and we had the best stay here! First of all, every employee, from the valet to the doorman to the cabana hosts, were friendly and attentive. The grounds are beautiful (our room overlooked the botanical garden), the rooms are clean and the pools/lazy river/water slide provided countless hours of fun and relaxation. We rented a cabana at the Griffin pool one day and then a daybed all three of the other days. The attendants provided food for our little boys to feed the on-property fish, surprised my husband with a beautiful birthday platter from the bakery and ensured we were well fed and had plenty of water to stay hydrated. There are plenty of food options onsite. While we left the property for dinner most nights, we did have a great meal at Roy’s when we arrived. The host kindly seated us even though it was close to the time the kitchen closed and our server quickly brought out snacks for our tired and hungry kids to eat. There’s also a full Starbucks on site, which we found very convenient for breakfast and our daily dose of caffeine. Lunch at the pool was delicious and our son really enjoyed the tacos from the lazy river taqueria. There were activities for kids that we didn’t get a chance to do because we simply ran out of time. Needless to say, none of us wanted to leave. The management team and staff should be commended for running a well oiled machine.

Outstanding Customer Servicer at the JWM Pool This is a review of the pool area and staff - more specifically, the customer service of the pool staff. My family and I were staying at the Marriott Villas across the parking lot from this hotel. We decided to pay the JW Marriott pool a visit, which is pretty incredible by the way. Highly recommend their pool area. I could write a big long review about how beautiful this property/pool is, and it is! But this review is about the customer service of the pool cafe staff - specifically, Manager Jayden and pool server Justin, who went out of their way to provide outstanding customer service! There was a BIG mistake on our poolside bill that was a result of miscommunication by another staff member. They listened to what we had to say and then resolved the matter with a JWM level of customer service. Kudos to these two on going the extra mile to ensure Marriott customers are well taken care of. We will be back!

Property Gorgeous, Service Stinks The property itself is gorgeous, but I was disappointed with this resort. Check in is at four. By the time we got in got changed and got down to the pool all the poolside amenities were closing. We were unable to get a drink or food. You could walk all the way back inside to get what you need but you have to get dressed every time to do so. Getting back into the pool area proved difficult because the key entry wasn’t working. Every time we needed to re enter we had to wait there hoping a passerby would see us and open the gate. The sidewalk surrounding the lazy river was littered with empty drinks and beer cans. They don’t offer room service so we ordered door dash. Overall I would not stay here again. The service is nonexistent for the money paid.

July visit We had a wonderful visit. the valet, front desk, the pool staff were all amazing The only thing that bothered me was the long walk to my room but that’s my problem. The grounds are beautiful if you want to take a morning stroll. Thank you for making this a great memory for us!
