Injured but no manager available Injured on bed frame big gash in leg. Rough metal hangs past mattress. Security brought bandaid way too small. No manager has ever contacted me to apologize or offer compensation. I will have a scar for life for something that is their fault.

More than likely will stay here again. Very comfortable bed and room. Excellent location. Reasonable price. Close to public transportation. Very clean. Responsive staff. I like the Art vibe and location is close to museum. Pool area is smaller than it appears in pictures. I like the open air restaurant and their service is top-notch. Nice servers in the coffee shop too.

A Hipster Vibe But a Pretty UNhip Experience So here’s the deal with this hotel: They’ve certainly spent some money on creating a hipster vibe. But what the owners never seem to understand is that while the steampunk theme is cool, it has little to do with the experience guests arrive to. When we checked-in, there was nobody at the desk until someone wandered out and discovered we were waiting to check in. The first surprise: while not included in their advertised room rate, you have to pay $35.00 per night in addition to the room rate, taxes, fees, etc, to cover the “amenity fee”. These valuable “amenities” include: 10% off the art on the walls in the lobby; two bottles of water; access to a black and white printer, and,,” if you can imagine it, other benefits not quite as coveted. That they list a room rate and then mandate you spend $35.00 more per night on utterly useless crap is about as unhip as one could imagine. In fact, it’s just plain wrong. Hotels that pull this BS on guests need to know that it does not make more money for the owners. In fact, it costs them money as I and others who feel as I do are not likely to return.
