DO NOT STAY HERE Our room had a leak in the bathroom ceiling, the breakfast was gross, none of the vending machines on property worked, no ATM on site, I told management about concerns over the leak in my room's bathroom ceiling and was told there's nothing they can do and it's my fault I didn't report it sooner (this comment came from a rude young girl at the front desk). The appropriate action from management would be to relocate the guest if it was deemed unsafe AND provide a prorated refund for the nights inconvenienced. Regarding the pool, no one was monitoring the pool area and kids were jumping in, doing flips, being rowdy and the chemical fumes literally burned your eyes. Geese and duck feces were everywhere in the parking lot and sidewalk if you paid for the upgraded riverside room. What brings my review of the service down even more was when I left my review on ChoiceHotels, the manager, Randy, sent me back an entirely dismissive email going LINE BY LINE through all of my listed concerns with a justification and defense. The biggest insult was claiming the leak was "mismatched paint." This comment comes as a blatant lie since we were IN THE ROOM with maintenance who also identified the leak himself. He told us he couldn't repair it right then and there, but that he was going to check the room upstairs to see if the leak was coming from above. He said it was safe, so we told him he can repair it tomorrow since we were checking out the next morning. Look at the photos attached to my review, see for yourselves. After looking at all the other negative reviews of this place, I guess we should be blessed our AC worked and our room didn't have bugs. Just remember if you stay here, your concerns will not be heard and you'll receive a response from management that will dismiss any and all of your listed concerns. DO NOT STAY HERE! Awesome Very nice hotel other than needing a little updating.Toilet was leaking but they fixed right away. The view and walking area around the river just outside your hotel is awesome.Nice covered picnic area with fireplace.Nice big indoor heated pool but they had to kick people out of the pool who had just walked in off the streets.Breakfast is awesome.Beds are just ok.Could do away with the orange walls they are so cringy.Nice staff.

Survivable, but Stay Elsewhere if Possible Upon arrival there, when a female and male were working the desk, they both were assisting other travelers, so I waited. As the female desk clerk finished her traveler, she said next, and before I could speak, she said ID and Credit Card, and not in a nice way but a demanding way as if I was bothering her! Not very professional or Customer Friendly. Very dated needs some change, looks like it did in 2002 when I stayed. Pictures were removed from our room, and the hooks are still on the wall! Hair in the sink when we checked in. You could hear the room, above or beside or below conversation when standing at the sink. The DX through the wall A/C does not work. It was set on 60 degrees, and it had to be 75+ in the room, very uncomfortable sleeping conditions. The vending machines take your money, and the front desk just gives a refund and acts like no big deal. Lastly and the worst part, it is a Non-smoking building yet there is smoking on the walkway outside the entry doors to the room and when these folks are there smoking they may as well be in your room with you as the smoke smell enters the room around the door and DX A/C Unit and it is awful.

Another wonderful Stay My mom and absolutely love staying here when we are in the area visiting family. We had such a wonderful stay, and we will continue to stay here when we are in the area. They do have a pool, Wi-Fi, and breakfast. This hotel is conveniently located near everything which makes things nice for us.

Not a good experience When we arrived the AC was off on the 3rd Floor. It took a full day to cool down. Beds were not Queens like advertised, they were full size. After travelling, I wanted to get some sleep but because they stuck us above the pool, it was too loud because the pool is open until 11. The next day, I tried to connect the Roku on the TV, but it wouldn't work so to the input on the TV wouldn't change, so that's disappointing as well. They said I,d have to call a number to have any media I brought to be authenticated. I never heard of this.
