Absolute dump Hotel is run down and dirty. Dirty carpet with visible garbage, dirty bathroom, mattress did not fit bed frame, sheets did not fit mattress, the air didn’t work and had to beg for a fan that worked but was uneven and old so it rattled and kept falling over. Fridge didn’t work, digital key didn’t work, curtains broken, ceiling falling apart. Just really really bad. Especially for a Hilton.

As usual, no one cares This hotel is a disaster. From the fact that two of the elevators weren’t working to the garage being full previous to 5 PM on a Saturday to waiting over an hour for some takeout food. Pretty typical of the Hilton chain these days. As usual, no one cared. I won’t be staying here again and will try not to stay at Hilton‘s.

Extremely Disappointing My family and I were extremely disappointed with our stay at the DoubleTree in downtown Pittsburgh. The issues began upon arrival when we found the parking garage was full. Although there was a sign indicating this, there was also a handwritten note on a piece of notebook paper that read “Diamond Only.” As a Diamond member, I approached the valet for clarification, only to be told that no spaces were available unless I had prepaid for parking. This forced me to unload my luggage and find alternative parking in the busy downtown area. During check-in, I inquired why Diamond members didn’t have reserved parking spaces, and the staff simply replied, “There should be, I don’t know what happened.” This lack of communication and preparedness set a frustrating tone for our stay. Our room was another major letdown. It had a strange layout, smelled musty, and showed visible signs of water damage, particularly on the walls near the ice machine room which was adjacent to our room. The overall condition was far below the standard one would expect from a Hilton property. The dining experience was equally disappointing. The room service menu on the hotel’s website was outdated and inaccurate. Additionally, the Sunday breakfast buffet was underwhelming, especially given the $33 per person price tag. The quality was well below what I would expect not only from a DoubleTree but from any hotel. Overall, this was one of the worst Hilton stays I’ve ever experienced. After several disappointing experiences with Hilton properties recently, I am seriously reconsidering my loyalty to this brand.

OK, if you don't mind noise Don't do it. The noise level from the street (constant sirens and honking all night) is so loud from the old windows, you'd swear that you're in the middle of the intersection. The rooms are run down and need to be renovated. Breakfast and the valet service were the only aspects that were positive. I left after the first night and found somewhere else to sleep.

Great place in great location Great place to stay downtown Pittsburgh, close enough to walk to Steelers or Pirates games, any restaurants, bars, shops or attractions you could want to see there. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Check in was very quick, and everything was clean and safe.
