Historic Beauty! An absolutely BEAUTIFUL hotel! I loved the aesthetic, the Christmas decor, and the customer service was great! The location is convenient to shops, restaurants, and other entertainment venues. We were there during a cold and rainy period, but it was great!

A beautiful historic hotel, but needs some upgrades When you have to start by calling maintenance to unstop the toilet, you're not off to a good start. We also had a frustrating experience with the wifi. Instead of free, like in any roadside motel in the country, this "luxury hotel" charges $10 daily -- for the slow internet! But they offer you to become an Omni member for free wifi, so we tried that. My husband and I, each on our I-pads, laboriously typed in all our personal details, clicked "join" -- and got the old 404! I gave up. We were only there for one night, I could do without internet, so I went to the gym. Which was very nice. I came back after 30 minutes and my husband was still on the phone with "tech support" and had reached the hair pulling and screaming into the phone stage -- we've all been there. "Hang up the phone!" I kept imploring him until he finally did. Whew! It was so cold out, we decided to eat in. After a tour of the options, we chose the the Palm Court. We enjoyed our meal, no complaints, but there was no "fine wine" to match the "fine dining". Hasn't the Omni heard of a sommelier? I really don't like going to a restaurant where their list of wines is the same as on the shelf of any supermarket in America. Please. So, all around, the service was very good. The bed was extremely comfortable, we slept well, and the amazing high-pressure blast of deliciously hot water in the shower is almost worth going back for.

Always love the Omni William Penn! Every year we come to the Omni for its age, beautiful decorations and general ambiance. The staff is always fantastic, with many of them having been there for multiple years now, we start to recognize and see some of them over and over. The rooms can feel a little bit dated with the furniture in some of the rooms needing some refreshing but its not TOO dated and its to be expected with a hotel as old as the Omni.

Outstanding Extremely well kept hotel with lots of charm. All staff were extremely friendly , polite and friendly. The beds and pillows very comfortable. Room was spacious and quiet. Food at both the Taproom and the Terrace Room restaurant is excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and plan on staying here again on my next stay in Pittsburgh

Underwhelming dated rooms and staff not welcoming. This is a beautiful hotel (lobby etc.) but we were underwhelmed for a few reasons. First, the valet attendant is the first impression you have of the hotel. A busy Sunday morning he does not welcome us, instead he says "I wasn't expecting anyone checking in this early" in a scolding tone of voice. It was 9:30 am and we had paid for the 9 am early check-in package ($75). Bad first impression. Then we go to the desk and she does not even acknowledge we have this early check-in booked and immediately says they have no rooms ready. I kindly remind her about what we booked and then she just goes into excuses that 400 people JUST checked out (doubt it) and she would have no idea when our room would be ready. Why do they bother offering the early check-in at $75 then that I booked weeks ahead of time? Another women steps over (manager?) and suddenly they have an upgrade for us to a suite and it's ready now. Okay that sounds good. We go up to the "suite", lol, how is this called a suite? We looked at pictures online and it was the executive suite which means instead of 1 chair there are 2. We were just happy to be checked in though, it was a rainy cold day and we were going to a concert later that night. We would not have left our house in Cleveland that early if our room hadn't been ready yet. The room - worn, dated, tired. The carpeting needs replaced badly. The lamp shade was crooked, the other lamp flickered. The bathroom is TINY. The toilet almost hits the door and there's no where to hang a hand towel. Rooms need a major update!!!! Restaurants were good. Ate at the Palm Court for dinner because the Tap Room was full. Good food. Ate breakfast in the Terrace Room in the morning. I asked for a latte and the man says, oh let me see if we can get that or not. Then why is it on the menu?? They did get it though and the food was good. We would not stay here again, would try the Fairmont instead.
