Some good, some bad Plus's and Minus's: General Manager Kevin was great, attentive and helpful, willing to go out of his way for guests. On the other hand, I asked for help from IT person my first 2 days, (TV and Internet issues) was told 3 times he would show up, he never did. I was there for over 30 days. Hotel is older, but clean and well kept, positive, being older it was solidly built, in31 days I never once heard a TV or voice of another guest from rooms next to mine. VERY Dog friendly, they have an awesome built in dog area in center of hotel, completely enclosed, great place to throw a ball or frisbee, really large grassy area. No adult pool, only a kiddie pool area, open to all, so crowded with kids paying to use it. Amazing gym, also open to public, I went down in afternoon once and immediately turned around. Memberships to all mean there had to be a hundred people there when I swung by. Spin classes, saunas and steam rooms, massive set of machines. Biggest gripe was no fault of manager/hotel. The breakfast is absolutely awful and this is Choice Hotels fault. "Eggs" are not edible, nor is the mystery meat breakfast sausage, everyone made jokes about it, waffles were safe bet, and good, but how many people want to eat carbs and sugars for breakfast daily? I suggested to manager he might see if they can come to accommodation with breakfast restaurant on premises, maybe they could offer discount to guests. Finally, also no one's fault, town water is terrible, smelled like pool water strained through a gym sock, I bought a lot of gallons of water from Walmart while there.

Quality inn name means NOTHING! I should have read about this place first…..but no, reasonable point usage through AA….wasted them. Parking lot is a mess. Holes, grass, you name it. Outer door not secured. Hollow core doors on rooms. Hallway to room was scuffed, carpet frayed and paint all over it. Inside the king room, clean but the pillows on the bed look like the ones airlines let you use…real small. Remote for the TV batteries were so weak, hard to use. Stopped into the office and Manager Mr. Patel said he had no more batteries. Really??? For your own remote? I am staying in Plattsburgh for a medical test the next day, 2 hours from home. I am sure nothing will be restful tonight. There are many other finer hotels in the area, stay there if you are smart! This place needs to be torn down. Don't be fooled by the price, this is the "Bates Motel" of Plattsburgh and should be avoided at all costs.

Stuffy stay… As Diamond members, we booked a king suite. On arrival, at first the key card would not open the door. We persevered for a while before doing a long walk back to reception. Eventually it opened. The room has obviously not been cleaned for a while. It had a dusty smell. The ice bucket was full of dust. I wanted to leave my overnight bag on the sofa, however it was dirty and burnt from cigarettes. We returned to reception who gave us another room, however, not a suite.

Outdated, Great for kids, needs TLC I looked at the reviews yet took a chance. Yes, we'll situated, great for kids. The water park is great but needs a good scrub, especially since kids are in there. The basement kid friendly area is great, fun city I think, well nice fir the kids for sure. Room: Well, that needs cleaning, really cleaning, we found dirt on the sheets, stains on pillow case, sofa had crumbs, wallpaper is peeling off, room smell moldy. Did I mention we stayed 4 days, and the cleaning lady only made up one of the beds in the room, dust on top of the mold. When crossed a cleaning lady on the hall, seemed as if they were avoiding us. Where is the safe in the room? There is none! What a maze to get to your room, corridor needs more light. Breakfast: tks God for the waffle ( first day great batter, then it was downhill) eggs forget it, sausages are not real. Staff: Amazing! As a long-time member, I expected more of a welcome. At times the front desk people were on their devices. Perkins attached to the hotel is brilliant Many hotels are close by, will take my loyalty elsewhere next time.

Great for Kids We came here for a family event and were pleased. This is a great spot if you have children and clearly the hotel is focused on that fact. The pool/splash pad is good, however, it looked like it could use a good cleaning, as the tiles were pretty brown. The games area in the downstairs is also great for kids and has that State Fair vibe. Our only real complaint is that the pillows were terrible.
