Allegro Playacar - All Inclusive

Amazing family vacation ❤️ We just came back from allegro playacar, and our experience was as expected. Amazing service from The Rooms to the Property Big applause to Alejandra Castaneda from Restaurants and the entire entertainment staff that made out vacation memorable.. we love the hotel and hoping to go back next year ... allegro playacar is the best paradise ✨️

Not what it looks like - Pick somewhere else!!! The rooms are super tiny. Double beds are hard as a rock. Shower trickles. The rooms are hot, a/c doesn't work, can only rely on a super slow ceiling fan to cool the room off, which it doesn't do when it's 90+ degrees outside. Food sucks! There are NOT 4 restaurants! There is a breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet and somedays if you wait for hours in line each day you may be able to, but it's not likely, have a different type of food served to you, which they considered a restaurant. The free water activities advertised are not FREE! The only thing that is free is kayaking. The only nice thing was that you're right near the beach. The beach was nice. There is nothing to do after dark except swim in the pool.

However, the resort's reservation system for a-la-carte restaurants is inefficient, with long queues forming daily at 9:30 AM. The expansive buffet options cater to diverse tastes, and the weekly Mexican dinner and show offer a cultural experience. The unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, while featuring a wide variety of cocktails, could benefit from an expanded whiskey selection. While the resort's isolated location provides a peaceful ambiance, it may be inconvenient for those wishing to explore the local area. Car rental options are limited nearby, making transportation challenging. Room service was slow, but the restaurant staff provided excellent service. In summary, Allegro Playacar offers a beautiful setting and exceptional staff. While the resort's reservation system and transportation options could be improved, the overall experience is positive. One visit is enough to not go back 6 nights and 7 days One visit is enough. The staff, including housekeeping, waiters, and bartenders, are excellent. The room temperature never drops below 26.5 degrees Celsius at night. There is always a shortage of staff at the front desk, so expect a minimum wait of 20 minutes without air conditioning. The drinks are acceptable but not exceptional. I guess if your okay sleeping with 79 degrees every night go ahead. Last day the water was shut down due to a pluming issue. It was out for about a hour twice.

An amazing experience yet again We went for a day pass with the family for my birthday and it was an amazing experience as always. This is not the first time we've been to this hotel. Last year we spent a week here and celebrated our daughter's 15th birthday. A few years ago I celebrated my birthday here again. The place is beautiful with two great pools and a pool bar which is so convenient. The beach is lovely too. The staff here are so friendly led by a very attentive manager, Rene. They really do go the extra mile to make you feel at home here. They surprised me with s birthday cake this time! The food and drinks here are the best we've had with regards to hotels that we have stayed at. Very highly recommended!
