Amazing experience! Amazing! We had a great time. Stayed for a week, had enough time to visit all the restaurants, all the pools, enjoy the beach and to join in the nocturnal shows/activity. Staff was great. Rooms were clean and spacious, and AC worked perfectly. Pools were clean. Green spaces around the hotel are beautiful and we encounter monkeys and other animals a few times!

Amazing Beach This smaller resort is tucked in the back of a gated community with one of the best beaches I have ever been to. The palm trees offer filtered shade along the large white sand beach and the water is crystal clear and shallow enough for kids to enjoy. The shows were great (loved the Divas) and we walked to the RIU Tequila for the "RIU Party". My 11 year old enjoyed his first "night club" experience with family friendly dance music and glowing face paint. The staff is friendly, but I have to give a shout out to Enrique and Charley for making it extra special. We enjoyed all of the activities and the relaxing times by the pool and beach. I know there were some reviews about the resort being "outdated" and you can tell the buildings have been around a while, but they are updated and most importantly very clean. I also loved that the guest buildings have trees between them so when you go on the balcony, you aren't staring at the people across from you.

Our stay was great however, our rooms 7105 and 7106 need some love. They are very outdated and smell like mold. Workers were absolutely amazing, food was good, grounds were clean but the rooms need some major upgrades. 7105 and 7106 smelled like mold. Lots of spiders in 7105. Toilet broke in 7106 and my daughter was told to use the public rest restroom until it got fixed the next day. Management was not willing to compensate anything. Entertainment was amazing. Overall it was a great stay

Time for a Makeover Cannot fault how clean everything was, rooms were kept spotless when we had housekeeping in. Food was amazing, never anything bad, and lots of variety. We actually ended up eating at the Italian restaurant twice! Only knocked off a star because the property itself is getting tired. Interior bathroom door that didn't work properly, the silver coming off the mirror, and water damage to furniture were the most obvious things in the room. They added up to not feeling like a "5 Star" property. We had upgraded to a suite (traveled with kids) and the extra beds were rollaway, and surprisingly more comfortable than the main bed. Beach was great, and extensively cleaned every morning. We were in block 6 - great for being close to the pool & beach, but EXTREMELY noisy.

Service good service in restaurants. ala map. except at the reception of Italian. Twice it was difficult to get a place. I understand that there were 11 of us. It seems like he didn't want to see us. gentleman not too welcoming. inside great service. In addition, JW finds that the a la carte restaurants close early. 9 p.m. when we went around 7:55 p.m. they no longer wanted us to go there. Shame .
