Has that Biblical Feel Booked this huge resort whilst visiting Detroit to watch the lions & although only 25. ins from Ford Field, they kept there prices the same (makes a change around NFL fixtures) & whilst the room & resort was absolutely huge, they never lost that feeling of togetherness & almost had that biblical feel about it. Whilst this is seemingly funded by church goers, this resort is well worth the stay, with only minutes from local shops & restaurants, its extremely clean, the rooms are large & the bed was extremely comfortable. They also go the extra mile in trying to accommodate any special requests (English roast spuds :-) for Thanksgiving ) & cannot thank the manager enough for accommodating this. The only shame was, we was not allowed in the church, as seemed closed to guests any although we're far from religious, looked amazing through the glass doors entrance (photo's enclosed) Would we return if in Detroit or the surrounding area like this in Plymouth, damn right we would. ALL Staff were very accommodating & pleasant, as well as the hotel & surrounding grounds were extremely quiet & although I'd of loved to played golf here, the snow took care of that idea :-( Thanks Saint Johns

Wow Lindsay is the best server there is that I have encountered in Michigan. Our dinner at this magnificent location was exceptional. The facility was decorated to a tee. A seminary at one time built in 1955. You need to come and experience a building from the past with the current atmosphere of a new hotel.

Head fake hotel The building is beautiful the entryway palatial walk up to the front desk the attendant acts like she could care less if you were there late arrival at your hungry no room service no Porter no Bellman no food people here act like they don’t care if you are here or not The appears snooty and better than so today I ordered a burger fries and an iced tea for room service at 12. It’s not 2 o’clock and I finally called them back and said hey where’s my food we had it for pick up we’ll send it right up. I said is it cold, no shouldn’t be cold. It was in a Styrofoam box. Call back. Oh we’re gonna cook your food. Totally underwhelmed with the service in this beautiful hotel.

Company annual meeting My husband's company had their annual meeting here. The facilities were nice. The front desk would not let me, who made the room reservations, check in without my husband present. They were able to check us in early. We shared the room with another couple. They had the bed and we slept on the pull-out couch. It was not comfortable. The room's furnace, I believe, made a knocking noise every few minutes throughout the night. It kept us all awake. In the end we didn't have to pay the difference on the room. My husband's company was paying for part of the room. It was a nice location to have the meeting. We enjoyed the food served.
