Fantastic Hotel Beautiful hotel and property in a great location. There's no room service, but there's plenty of food options on property and nearby. We decided against renting a car, but that was no issue. Beach is a short walk away. Pool is huge with lots to do. We would definitely stay here again.

The Place I Want to Call Home I have been to Koloa Resort three times over the last two years—as you'll see in my review, I'm already returning in September. The location is tucked away in paradise. Convenient to many restaurants and shops but just isolated enough to be a true haven. The rooms are immaculate (down to the scent of the custom bath products) and are generously sized, even at the "smallest" tier. Don't forget to tip your housekeepers! The cleaning staff at Koloa Landing work so hard and clean down the the smallest detail. The pool has truly earned it's best pool in the country title--it is beyond words dreamy. I appreciate the multiple pool offerings across the property, as well, if you don't want to deal with kiddos splashing (which honestly isn't too bad--since the pool is so large, you can find your nook!) Last but NOT least, the Holoholo Grill (poolside bar/restaurant) is stand alone one of the best restaurants in the area. It's not "good for a bar" or "good for a hotel"--it's good. The mahi tacos are my favorite--be sure to get that side of chipotle aioli! The staff at the Holoholo Grill tie the perfect bow around the already outstanding Koloa Landing experience. This small but mighty team is who welcomes you for breakfast, gives you the best local recommendations for exploring the island around lunchtime when you're sipping one of the incredible tropical drinks they've blended up, and who bids you goodnight after having a beautiful dinner before a late night dip and a walk back to your room. You can tell, from moment one, that they love their job and what they do. You truly feel like family. While all of the bartenders were wonderful, Nikki truly stood out. She balanced skilled bartending, attention to overall detail of service, and memorable customer service that has made it certain that I will never stay anywhere else on Kauai. She brought another level of joy to my time at the resort. Lastly, thank you to the security team, for making sure my time as a solo party feel so safe and secure. I can't wait to be back!

Disappointing Disappointing. 1. Not on or near the beach This hotel is not on the beach or anywhere near a sandy beach you can actually enjoy. From the pool and restaurant you can not see the ocean what so ever. 2. Pool never has enough seats The pool is big and nice however you can not enjoy it. You can only get a chair by the pool if you get their at 7am to reserve your seat. 3. Restaurant The Holoholo grill by the pool is extremely overpriced for what you get. Ordered a burger and it came out practically raw. Also ordered a fruit plate as it looked great on the Holoholo grill sign however it looked NOTHING like the picture. 4. Feels like they cheeped out. For a 5 star resort you would think there would be more than 1 store and more than 1 restaurant in the entire resort. 5. Workers When I arrived at the hotel I was not treated like a guest! I pulled up to the front of the hotel and no one greeted me or helped me get my luggage out of my car they made me carry my luggage directly to the room! 6. ZERO DRINKING WATER This isn't my first time in Hawaii but the lack of water at this hotel is insane! you can go to any hotel on the island and they will have water dispensers ALL over the hotel. I couldn't seem to find any? - we had to run to markets multiple times just to load up on bottled water. If you're gonna spend the money to go here it's not worth it compared to somewhere like the grand hyatt just down the road. Expectations were not met.

Amazing!!! Our family of 5 had been waiting a year for this trip, and it did not disappoint! We got a two bedroom villa and it was perfect ! We made a grocery run (also had the hotel grocery service for when we checked in). The beds were so comfy, a must when you are away from home. The pools were all amazing. Although we didnt go to the quiet pool (adult pool i think it was called), the other two were amazing. Our room was near the "kid" pool (funny how the waterslide pool isn't considered a kid pool) and that was prefect for a relaxing afternoon. Our son LOVED the waterslide and spent most of his time there. The first day we spent at our cabana and the whole family enjoyed it. We bbq'd a few nights, and ate at the Grill. We also went to a few food trucks to and ate-so good! Me and the husband got coffee every morning in the lobby, it was very good too! We already booked a trip for next summer-can't wait!

Exceptional Kauai Resort Our stay at Koloa Landing Resort far exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful, amenities are phenomenal, and customer service is exceptional. The pools are amazing and were loved by our entire family. Other amenities my family particularly loved were the soccer field, volleyball court, and the convenience of the marketplace. Our family of 5 stayed in a 2 room villa which provided more than enough room to spread out and relax. The lovely lanai added even more space and I was SO appreciative of the laundry room! Our room was extremely clean and beds very comfortable. Front desk staff and concierges were friendly and abundantly helpful. The location was perfect- close to restaurants and shops as well as several beaches. I would highly recommend this resort.
