Walk to the Ferry terminal This is basically a nice hotel in a good location. You could get off the ferry and roll your suitcase to this hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable (except see below) and spacious. My only complaint is that the pillows need to be replaced. They are lumpy and unpleasant. I like a room with reading lights next to the bed -- on both sides. Our room had that and that made me happy

Good hotel for exploring Port Angeles Stayed here one night during our Olympic NP vacation ahead of driving up to Hurricane Ridge. Great view of the harbor, small beach (don’t swim…it’s an industrial harbor), and short walk to the ferry and pier stores/restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

A great find: excellent location, refreshed rooms and friendly staff Stunning location on Port Angeles Harbor, with a wonderful walking trail, this hotel looks dated from the outside, but inside it is freshly renovated, super clean, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and plenty of places to connect your electronics. Good selection of television options, too. Our dog enjoyed the floor to ceiling window, where she could watch all the activity. Even if you don't get a room on the water side, this hotel is a real and unexpected gem in a bustling town where choices are somewhat limited. The attached restaurant delivers local farm to table foods. Bonus is it is convenient to Hurricane Ridge and the entire Olympic Peninsula.

Decent place to rest my head for a single night's stay We were greeted by a nice gentleman and off to our room quickly. The room was clean and comfortable. Beds were nicely firm and amenities were as expected at this price point. Not a lot to do at the hotel itself, but close to the wharf and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Only reason for lowered star was the lack of elevator for suitcases and no breakfast offering available.

Be Careful with Room Selection Booked 2 months in advance for 5 nights, and this was the only room available. The view out the window is blocked by the staircase. Granted, otherwise the view would look at the parking lot, but still. The room gets almost no light. As far as I can see, this is the only room blocked like this. Why would you even build a room like this? Oh well. But when you make a reservation be sure to ask for a room that's not blocked by a staircase!
