Unresponsive On Expedia, I booked a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchenette that showed a stove. After I got in our room and found that there was not a stove, I went back to the front desk to let them know there was a problem with the room. I was supposed to have a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen. I was told that red awning booked the room, there was nothing that the Beachgate staff could do to change or upgrade the reservation. I would have to call red awning for any help. Red awning refused to correct the problem and local staff refused to help. I asked to speak to the general manager and as of 5 days later have not heard from him. My family had to leave the property and eat at restaurants for almost every meal. It cost us a small fortune on top of the groceries we could not use. We lost a bunch of beach time. Red awning gave us $34.98 back. Maybe 10% of the additional cost incurred. Worst hospitality experience. They ruined our vacation and do not care.

Choose Another Location The pictures are misleading as to size of rooms due to the angle of the photographer, smaller. Plus it was misleading advertising stating balcony view. Implies that the rooms have a private balcony. In reality the balcony is the walkway leading to all the units.

Great place and walking distance to the beach. I enjoy spending time at beachgate condos, this is our to go place in Port Aransas, usually get a beach view and it is so relaxing. We love the fact that you can take your dog. Will continue to go back, thank you Beachgate.

Complete comfort and relaxation. We should have stayed longer! We loved it! We had unit 533, a 1 bedroom condo and we absolutely loved it! Super clean, nicely decorated, comfortable furniture, full size appliances and we could see the ocean the living room window and the balcony. It was nice and quiet, my only regret is we didn’t stay longer! It was great to stay right on the beach, which is a beautiful beach! The warm Texas ocean was an added bonus, as I am from New Hampshire! We didn’t use the hot tub, it seemed too hot for us, but the heated pool was really warm, almost too warm for me. I bet the other pools were great, but I spent all of my time on the beach! The restaurant’s and shops were a very short drive away. We probably could have walked to a few of them. I really want to go back to unit 533 as soon as I can! Laurel S. NH

Wonderful beach front spot We love Beachgate. We have stayed there the last 2 4th of July weekends & the last 2 Octobers with friends & family. The property is well maintained. The staff is very kind & quick to meet any request. The beach access is perfect. The pools are clean. The condos are clean and it is so nice to have an equipped kitchen. I prefer a simple, clean & nice place to stay when in Port Aransas - not a fancy resort.
