Roaches…. Staying here now, seen roaches in the bathroom both nights. Tried to get pics but obvsiouly a little hard. But my profile is reputable . At 220$ a night, not including breakfast you’d think you’d be able to afford exterminators. Maybe less branded stuff and more hotel up keep.

Business trip Friendly staff, clean room, comfy beds. Had a few issues in the bathroom which was rectified the same day. Not all the light switches seem to work and the light sockets didn’t hold anything I plugged into them except for the one at the end of the desk. If you don’t like the noise of the trains across the street, I don’t recommend this hotel unless you ask for a room at the back side of the hotel. There’s a restaurant connected to the hotel but privately run. A pub is inside the hotel.

Poco Inn is a No Go We had a one bedroom suite ($300/night!) from August 3 to 6 to attend a wedding. The room was in the old section second floor facing the back which was less noise from traffic. Staff were good and responsive to requests for extra towels. We left notes plus tips for the cleaners for extra towel and request for other supplies. Not sure if the could read English because our requests weren’t fulfilled for some reason. We had to call or go to the front desk to get extra towels, shampoo etc. The room was smelly and musty. We had to turn the air conditioner full blast for a while to dull the smell but only helped temporarily. Kitchenette had the utensils you needed if you were preparing snacks etc but a dribble of dishwasher detergent provide with a couple of towels. Our friends stayed in the new section and complained about the musty smoky smell in their room too. The washroom looked like it was renovated but plumbing was mediocre. On our last morning, the kitchen and bathroom sink was plugged and backing up. We were so happy to be checking out. The bed was comfortable and the mattress was firm which we liked but maybe not comfortable for most people. Air conditioner/heater units are the old old units that are in the wall and are loud and difficult to get the right temperature. On the second day , our card key didn’t work so we went to the front desk to get it fixed. The first thing the staff said was did you put the key next to your cell phone. Her tone was accusatory versus genuine question to help. My response was no. She fixed the keys and didn’t utter another word. No apologies or anything. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this nor will we stay there again.

Great service for group stay We live nearby and booked a total of four rooms for friends and family attending the wedding of our daughter. The manager (Leah) was super accommodating and very flexible. We initially booked 6 rooms but some overseas family members couldn’t make it a week before. Leah canceled the extra rooms for free. The Inn also provided free shuttle to the wedding venue at Pitt Meadow. The driver was very nice and waited beyond the requested time for pick up coz the wedding dinner started very late and ended much later than anticipated. The rooms were large and comfortable. The west wing room was quite, spacious, clean and comfortable. The East wing rooms can be a little bit noisy but otherwise comfortable with two queen beds. The car park is often full, maybe it is peak season. But they let us park right in front to pick up or drop off guests. Definitely will book again for visiting family and friends.

Decent stay I had a good stay here at the Poco Inn and Suites. The staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable. The location from where the hotel is to my courses were nice and nearby so that was great. Definitely would come back again if I have to be in the area.
