Pictures look great.BUT no so good as needs serious cleaning. and under personal working the desk. Comfort Inn and Suites; Filthy rug.. I got called in an emergency as my mom 102 years old, and my sister, 76, both fell and I had to get to their home fast. Paramedics had to be called. Because I was not able to get back until about 1 pm, and I was leaving that day, they still charged me for the whole day and night. I fell in the shower and as it was the last room, I was not able to get another room. The shower had no handrail to balance me, the grip on the floor of the bathtub was to worn to balance... I am now having to go to many doctors because of the bruise in my hip. (I warned them this is a law suit waiting to happen, but they don't care at all.). The room had the wall brace for towels and stuff removed and poorly finished. The up keep is very poor and the cleaning staff seems to be overworked. I got a room for my family as well, and their room not too bad... all this Hotel needs is serious cleaning... it should be 3-4 at least.. I wont to there again because of their lack of understanding. I had reserved the room, even called, but they could not exchange the room the fist nigh.. so.. all the medical stuff I brought, I just couldn't move to another room

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ¡WARNING! Do NOT book here!! 3/14/24 I booked a room online and the night clerk attempted to charge me twice!! It took me three hours to check in and get a room. Second incident; a business owner who owned a fleet of tour buses walked in to check out the hotel, pick up some pamphlets when the night clerk (female with glasses) loudly said no solicitors!! He explained to her that he wasn’t soliciting and she got rude and called the police!! Third incident; as I was a guest for two nights, I came downstairs to the lobby where the fireplace is and relaxed for a bit when in the first few minutes I was asked if I was a guest.. I told her my room number and name and continued watching tv.. within five minutes I was asked for ID and to repeat my room number.. something is seriously wrong with these people.. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

Unfortunate Experience Where do I even start with the Best Western? It was a terrible stay. We arrived late on a Friday evening—probably around 8:30 p.m. We had been driving all day to get there for a long weekend at Indiana Dunes NP. We were tired and wanted nothing more than to relax. Our room was on an upper floor, so inevitably our key cards kept not working. We had to return to the front desk 3 times to have them recheck the cards. Finally, they put us in a different room. The keys stopped working 2-3 more times over the course of the weekend. They said it was our fault, but I find that unlikely given what happened when we arrived. Our room was not great. The refrigerator didn’t work, which was unfortunate since I have refrigerated medication. Had to use the ice bucket, which isn’t ideal. The bathroom was terrible—no fan, the tub didn’t drain properly and there was plaster missing from various parts of the ceiling. The motion sensory lights were annoying and woke us up anytime anyone got up to use the bathroom at night. Breakfast wasn’t great—one morning all of the milk cartons were past their expiration dates and spoiled. I wasn’t impressed and we went out to breakfast our last morning. The location is ok—it is a good location just off the turnpike and near the National Park. However it isn’t in a walkable area and there’s not much around it in terms of restaurants, shops, etc. Overall, next time I would pay more to stay somewhere else, even if it was a little further of a drive into the park.
