Not great for the price I had expected more from the Hyatt brand and was willing to pay the price premium compared to other properties nearby. The location was fine but altogether a fairly underwhelming experience for me and my family.

Fantastic location to explore This is such a great location to explore the Portland area and downtown waterfront. Great restaurants and shopping, live music and cool breezes on the pier

Great location....value, not that much The location is perfect for me and my 16-year-old son. There were so many dining options that are within walking distance. The only time we had to Uber was during airport transfers, which ironically was listed as a service by the hotel. It turns out that airport transfer is not a guarantee. You cannot reserve in advance and it does not seem like they have a regular schedule. The room was not thoroughly cleaned. The carpeted floor has feathers that probably came off the down duvet. We stayed 4 nights and the room was only cleaned on day 3. This is indicated during check in, that they clean every other day. However, the feathers that I noticed were still there after the one day that the room was supposed to be cleaned. That could only mean that they did not vacuum the carpet. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I asked for shower gel because we discovered after showering for the first time there was very little of it. I had to make the request twice, but the front desk was apologetic. We had a pleasant stay in terms of sleep comfort and minimal noise.

Hyatt Place Portland- two night stay My husband, two children and I stayed in a two queen room which was very spacious with two queen beds and living room area. The room was clean; however, the bathroom was not very clean (the tub was dirty and dirt on the floor). They also now charge per person for breakfast- $14 per person- which is not worth the quality and variety of food offered. The staff were very friendly and the valet service was helpful.
