Extra charges and fees No one told you about the extra fees and charges that they tack onto your bill. Very disappointing. Hope no one else experiences this but likely they do.

Best part of our trip.. Everything about the hotel is relaxing, the lobby is gorgeous, smells like apricots, the front desk staff is helpful and nice. Gracies is elegant and the Bread pudding french toast is yummy. We booked a handicap ♿️ room and it was spacious and my wheelchair got around with ease. The bed was comfy. The whole experience was better than expected.

Quick get away Hotel had great character with clean rooms. We had a suite that was spacious. Pillows we great, AC great, bed was perfectly comfortable. Check in and out were easy. We enjoyed breakfast at Gracie’s in the hotel with the $15 discount. I would stay here again if in the area.

Maybe try another hotel First, Hotel Delux is truly vintage and beautiful. That’s the positive. The negative started with parking. Their parking garage across the street does not having a working elevator and was very full. We had to pack 3 suitcases down 6 flights of dirty stairs. They did not have any discount for the extreme inconvenience of this, 40.00 a night for this is outrageous. Second, our room was not properly cleaned. There was a loose white medication/pill left on the chair from a previous guest, this was alarming. The bathroom had major issues, there was a brownish red bodily substance mark near the toilet paper roll (HOW can cleaning services miss this?). The shower would not drain and stayed clogged for hours after a simple shower. The last night it just did not drain at all. So much room for improvement. The front desk staff seemed very unconcerned about these things.

Relaxing stay! Very friendly staff. Erin was our server in Gracie’s and she made our day! She represents your company very well! Great food, too! And the beds are very comfortable. We love staying at the Hotel Deluxe when we come to Portland and highly recommend!
