Very bad experience. We have been parking our car here and taking a shuttle to the airport for 3 years. We've watched the property go downhill until, at last, it was sold. We anticipated some major improvements but, instead, it's gotten worse. Two weeks ago we parked our car there while we traveled to the Midwest. They no longer have a shuttle, but call an Uber. Upon returning to Portland, we tried to call the hotel to arrange for an Uber, but there's no listing for the shilo any more. Even airport personnel couldn't t find a phone number. (Apparently, it's a Sojourn Hotel now). Today we tried to do the park and fly, like we've been doing for 3 years, and we're told we'd have to stay overnight to qualify. The staff was rude. We'll never park there again, and certainly will never stay there.

Very bad There was no service at the restaurant and it was freezing so they had a few space heaters, poor internet There was only 1 set of towels in the room NO RIDE FROM THE AIRPORT The driver was sick and they had no backup plan, no call , no email We had to get a Lyft ourselves with no promise to reimburse us What if I was old and had no idea about Lyft and Uber apps?

Incredible Shilo Stay My 97-year-old Mom and sister needed a hotel after their duplex lost power. I chose Shilo Inn by the Pdx airport. They made me look like a genius. Clean comfortable room, and probably the best staff ever. Manager Pam was especially helpful.

Something has changed! Shilo Inn at the Portland Airport has been our go to place for quite a while when we fly in and out of the airport. We not only use the park and fly feature, but also spend the night when our flights are either early in the morning or arrive late at night because we have 2 hour drive to get home. We have recently noticed it has become bit dilapidated. The pool has been closed forever, which didn't bother us much, but when we returned from a trans continental flight last week, checked in at midnight and were told there was no hot water in the entire hotel, well, that was a problem. We were advised that it would be fixed "first thing" in the morning. Needless to say, there was no hot water when we checked out. The front desk attendant said we should ask the manager, Pam Urben, for a discount. Both my husband and I have reached out to her for the past week via phone calls and emails and have not heard a word from her. I suspect we'll be looking for different accommodations in the future. Rumor has it, the hotel has been sold, but that's no excuse for poor customer service.

The Shilo Shines! I stayed at the Shilo Inn for 4 months and it was great! The staff was friendly, including the manager, Pam. The rooms were clean, sizable, and well equipped! Bella's restaurant was a warm, friendly place to be. This was due to the kind family that ran the restaurant and great employees such as Rick the Bartender and Norma, one of the waitresses. I highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant!
