Beautiful hotel! The Sentinel is a beautiful, quiet, amazing hotel. We stayed for almost a week and were so pleased with our room, the food, the amazing staff! The rooms are cozy and inviting. The room at the end of the hall was a great place to read and hang out. Kudos to the housekeeping staff who do an amazing job and the valets who always had our car ready to go. We will come back the next time we’re in Portland!

Fantastic Time at The Sentinel What a truly Portland experience, in all the best possible ways. I love the authentic history of this beautiful hotel, along with all the contemporary upgrades for comfort and convenience. The suite we stayed in was great, with a completely separate room for my husband to watch TV, while I closed the doors and went to bed. Loved the historic photos on our hall from the 60's, as well as the Room at the End of the Hall providing drinks and snacks. Food and lounge were great, too. But the piece de resistance was the service. Everything was handled quickly, efficiently and with grace and kindness. We simply couldn't have had a better experience. Suffice it to know that this is a town I know well and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay, right in the middle of everything, with MAX right around the corner and the best of all within walking distance.

Fantastic Portland Stay Very helpful and friendly front desk team, clean and functional accommodations. The room size is great, too, and the bathroom amenities are on point and provided by KLUR. The lobby has a great sitting area and has the appearance of a museum. We never waited more than a few minutes for an elevator, even with only two for the Elks Tower side. Prior to our arrival, we filled out a survey that resulted in the hotel providing a welcome amenity, which was a bottle of red wine waiting in our room upon arrival. The only downside, if you would even consider it a downside, was the abundant communication via text, prior, during, and after our stay. I can appreciate that the hotel team takes pride in their accommodations, but that said, it was a lot. Thanks for a great stay in Portland!

Portland perfected! Top shelf experience! From the beautiful buildings and decor, to the luxurious rooms, to the attentive staff, every detail is perfect. Be sure to dine at the in-hotel restaurant Jake's Grill for delicious food in a dining room built in 1909, truly a look at early Portland's social scene. Highly recommended!
