So downhill! It gets 1 star because I can’t leave fewer and because the staff is super friendly! The accommodations are kinda icky (my dog is sniffing other dog pee everywhere inside!) and the bed looks lumpy and the lamps are all askew. My “view room” is of the parking lot.

Family water weekend It's been years since I stayed here. Many things have not changed! 7+ rooms with 20+ family members. Apparently new owners in the process of remodel. Rooms I saw were very well worn. Carpet, doors, walls etc. But clean. Trip hazards outside with sinking and lifting concrete. Common areas more updated. Restaurant closed for remodel. Food truck at marina was good but limited. Breakfast was a joke. 2 Keurig coffee makers for entire hotel. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Not their fault! Work is ongoing. New HVAC units going on the roof Monday morning. It will be a while before completion. Hopefully they can get it back to Templin standards.

Look around. Needs serious updates, website says Hot tub which is why we booked , no hot tub!! No air in main areas, room was dirty. Bathroom was gross and there was a dirty red towel hanging behind the door. When you turned on water in tub and sinks they filled up with water. Workers were very pleasant. Room had air.

You’ll regret it if you stay here The internet went down shortly after we arrived for a 3 day stay. They never fixed it. The tv apparently only works with internet (even though it’s dish?), so we had no tv either. Ok, let’s go to the pool. Sorry, we closed it. Hot tub? That’s closed too. Ok, I guess we’ll go eat at the onsite restaurant. Nope, it’s closed also. So none of the amenities you advertise are available? That’s correct. They didn’t care. They didn’t seem concerned about any of it. The girl at the desk agreed that we souls get a refund but didn’t have the authority to do anything. Couldn’t ever talk to anyone else. She gave us an email to get a hold of the manager. No response. On top of all that, it’s super run down. Our bathroom door was rotting at the bottom. They don’t clean your rooms or bring you new towels. I would never stay here again.

Don't do it! We expected a place on the river with a marina to be more than a one star. We got a room on the river with a view. It's a huge disappointment. We'll be cutting our stay short. Carpets are worn, beds hard, patio filthy, the view is as bad as everything else.
